Owes the Caf £25 (With interests)
I really really dislike Rojo. He's not a quality defender. He's a rough, average defender who you could find in any middle team in Spain.
I'm not a fecking idiot.
He has about half of Rojo's technical ability ffs.
Jones has zero technical ability. He's made himself a career out of getting stuck in and turning every game into a war. He doesn't have any particular ball control, nor can he pass very well. It's not necessarily a bad thing, everyone has different strengths, but Rojo is a lot more technical than Jones. It appears that you are, in fact, a fecking idiot.
Rojo is acceptable on the ball at least. Jones struggles with clearances at times. You need to calm down buddy because you just took a huge dump on this thread. And the bold part is not true. Although I suppose he did a cool back heel clearance in the World Cup once
I'd much rather we go for Marquinhos
From what I have seen of him he looks a quality player
PSG dont sell their best players...not even to Real or Barca. So that aint happening.I'd much rather we go for Marquinhos

Indi an a Jones would make a great pair tbh.
My life is sad.
I still remember when people were trying to convince themselves he was an amazing signing. Some Portugese member wrote an epistle on how good he was and people tried to eat it up "good post", "amazing write-up". Maybe he's too avant-garde for United?
I've never said he was shit, it's the MEN that is coming up with this stuff. When did the Cafe universally decided Rojo was shit?
He was pretty highly rated the back end of last season, then the passport thing happened and now everything thinks he's shite?
In other words he is awful and we might as well have him.I wouldn't oppose this transfer, or even a loan. Martins Indi needs some playing time, and he gets very little here.
I agree although I think he's better than Jones tbh.Hmmm, I think Rojo's pretty good personally, but it appears I'm in the minority. He's no worse than Jones.
We've been linked with about 50 Dutch players since LVG came in but have only actually signed two.Have we still not accepted that the papers have no clue who we're signing?

I like Rojo and think he's fairy underrated but he doesn't seem to be the greatest professional.
So do I, but I know it's such a controversial opinion on here. I don't really rate Jones at all, though to his credit he's performed quite well in his recent, but brief return.I agree although I think he's better than Jones tbh.
It was just a belittling joke We really can't get rid at the moment due to lack of options. In other words he is awful and we might as well have him.
It's the way the caf is now, as soon as a bit of negative news comes out in the media about a player they don't rate those with an agenda come out of the woodwork to try and twist the knife. People really want to believe the Manchester Evening News? It's as much credibility as the Metro. When did the Cafe universally decided Rojo was shit?

Makes sense, I guess. Rojo's not very good. From the little I've seen, neither is Martins Indi. Balanced select-shun proshesh.
Didn't know Rojo was written off by so many already and what a terrible piece of journalism.
So van Gaal decided to not sign Martins Indi and go for Rojo, but after seeing Indi's performances on Porto's bench he was convinced and now wants to sign him for way more than he could've gotten him from Feyenoord.. On top of that, is it even confirmed Rojo is in van Gaal's bad books? I'm sure he got a bollocking for his passport issue but as far as I'm aware he's been injured and is behind Blind in the pecking order for now. Rojo has said van Gaal counts on him, which we definately do with Shaw being injured.
Plus Nani's wages for the season. So probably well over £20m.Jaysus. Thanks for reminding me we paid 16.5m for Rojo. Christ.
Apparently LvG was also mad after the Southampton game when Rojo had to come off as he hadn't informed the staff that he had either a thigh or hamtring problem and made it worse by playing, this goes against LvG's commands that if you are injured you get yourself off the pitch.
