Would be hilarious if we do all our business before June 15th. The transfer forum would implode. :D
It would be fantastic if that happened. Could get the majority of them on tour and be a lot more prepared for the new season.

Looking back to how unpreoared we were at the start of this season, and how late much of our business was done, its actually a lot easier to let LvG off a lot of our sub par performances. I expect a title challenge next season though.

Yes! Get in there  I love it when we complete early transfers - shades of 2007..

Defenders gonna' hate, hate hate him
Critics gonna rate, rate rate him
We're just gonna play, play play him
Depay IT'S ON, Depay IT'S ON.... (oo-oo-oooooooooo)

Struggling here...

I'd be fecking delighted given how our last few transfer windows have been, can't take that kind of stress any more.

Absolutely gutted.

Hope this does not mean the end for Nani or Januzaj. Also 25-30m seems a lot for someone in the Dutch league.

Valencia.......Jones.........Rojo............Shaw

..........Hererra.....Carrick......Di Maria.......

..........Mata.........Rooney......Depay..........

Even without any other signings that is a side that should challenge for the league, especially when you consider the players that would be on the bench.

Not that late then.
Our next (major) signing after that was Rojo on the 20th of August, then Di Maria on the 26th, then Blind and Falcao on the 1st of September. And Rojo couldn't play for a while because of work permit issues too.

Seems like we know our targets this season though.

Not seen any "unproven in the PL" posts yet. Pretty chuffed with this, wondering if it means we'll be seeing some 4-3-3 next season.

Pleased to see we're already well under way with our business for the summer.

Those who watch dutch football.. is the hype justified?
No. He's talented but not extremely, and he's quite immature. But not in the way he's not taking his football seriously, he's very committed to beeing the best he can be, he just needs someone who can tell him how. I'm sure he knows since last year that Van Gaal can teach him a lot.

I think the end was up for Nani when he went on loan... Adnan will be fine, probably go out on loan (which will be good for him I'd say).

This is much more fecking like it: done early, in a position where we lacked quality, for a reasonable price. Let's hope this is how we conduct all our transfer activity from now on!

Edit: also pretty much out of the blue, so we seem to have a better lid on leaks as well.

Completely out of the blue. I was fully expecting it to happen, but not this suddenly and early on.

Yeah Smalling should be in that team though, he's our best CB. And I'm hoping we get an actual RB. But the front 6 is good, with a new DM to rotate with Carrick (or maybe that could be Blind) to prepare for the future.

Top notch negotiating from us, Ian Ayre once again proving why he's the pioneer of modern day football transfers

There is a pattern here, I think LvG has a tattoo fetish

Exciting talent, looking forward to seeing him in action!

So happy with this signing exciting times coming up again for United i believe.

That's an argument for a different thread, personally I think he's the best natural defender but I don't like him on the ball. You'd think a new RB would be a given, I just hope it isn't Clyne for £25m.

That Rodgers has been building a scary forward lineup for next season...

What do we think, could this mean di Maria moves back into a central position?

Or will it be a case of Memphis left wing, di Maria right wing?

If AdM finds his swagger we have some good options.

Hopefully, Could be a seriously mean team if that is the case.

o and Welcome Memphis!

More like

Rooney as lone striker, Mata behind him, Depay on the left, AdM on the right - Herrarick in midfield.

Finally a signing to really excite the fans. Depay could be massive. Under Van Gaal, he'll get a good start to life at the top. Looking forward to seeing this youngster in our shirt. Go the feck on.

Might be an agreement with PSV. Would be pleased if he went there and got game time. not convinced he'll ever make it at united but a loan like that could make him.
