1.Does he need empire on the pitch like the wingers we have now?
2. The extra quality he brings that we don't have now?
3. Is he versatile?
4. Suitible to physicallity of EPL and style of United?
yes to all then WELCOME !!
otherwise welcome.

To think he liked a comment on Facebook not so long ago:"Welcome to Liverpool", what a hero :lol:

He's a tank.

Good stuff.

From everything I've heard, he is explosive, and has a good mentality of wanting to always improve.

Why are the BBC always wrong with their fees? We've paid £20m for him plus potential add ons according to a very reliable Dutch journalist but BBC are reporting £25m-£30m, the latter of which you just know the Pool and ABU fans will take as gospel and use as a stick to beat him with e.g. he's not worth that amount.

Wouldn't be surprised if we get our business done by June. I think the indications are that this time we have our targets mapped out and intend to get them done early to give Van Gaal the whole summer to blend his squad. No fecking about this time I reckon.

Fully agree. A very German style of doing it too. Should be the way most clubs operate in a perfect world.

Louis' analysis of targets and forward planning + Ed's willingness to make a deal happen = an early window raid and a much more prepared squad with the tasks that lie ahead. Less time learning on the job.

Fantastic news. Sort of signing very easy to get excited about.

Would be hilarious if we do all our business before June 15th. The transfer forum would implode. :D

They always do it. They don't seem to be able to comprehend the ideas of installments and bonuses. They just seem to state the maximum that he could cost, not what he will cost at the start.

Erm...

He's leaving on a jet, Depay.
Don't know when he'll be back again
He's coming on a jet, Depay
Oh babe, he'll score a goal...

Nope.

Wonder how long it will take for Liverpool fans to call him Overrated and a waste of momoney. Happy we got him, we need a goal threat on the wings.

They already did:
have they,or will he turn out like Afellay?
Another young player that goes to a big club and fails miserably,I know Afellay has had a lot of injuries, but surely he is better than Olympiacos?
Get in there. Honestly we've dodged one heck of a bullet. He'll do worse than Blind. If such a thing is possible.

Well done Woody and Aloysius, now Dybala please. Juve and Inter shouldnt be hard to beat.

It's a very good deal and it will be looked upon as a bargain in a few years, let's not kid ourselves here. I'm actually not too disappointed, him going to United this summer was never in doubt imo, especially with LvG there.

SHOCKED, united have actually got one part of their business done early, hell has frozen over lol

The Kooks - She Moves in her own Way

Uh oh, he met Brendan Rodgers and ran the other way,
Well uh oh, he signed for United, his name's Memphis Depay!

Obviously everyone has known about him for a while now but I'd just like to say that I signed him for United in like, FM 2011 or something and he turned class (remember his free kicks being like 19 or 20). Signed him in every one since then as well. Can't wait for next season

When was our first signing made last summer? Every thing seemed last minute which really affected our start.

Delighted as a dutchie to see another dutchman getting on board. At hingsight this was a proper no brainer. The sentiment was that United has the best papers with the LVG connection. Welcome to one of the greatest ( if not greatest) club on earth!
