No. We also have a better recent track-record of developing and/or bringing young players into the first XI, we have better training facilities - as good as any in the world and better than most - and we have a manager who is more willing to give young players the nod ahead of established names where merited.

Oh good, another thread ruined by Glaston and people continuously replying to him.

At least I'm talking about Depay and where he might go ... which come to think of it is what this thread is about.

Whereas your post is a complaining irrelevancy.

You'd be better off explaining why you disagree, rather than merely expressing disagreement in moronic fashion.

2/10 for your posts in this thread. Must tried harder.

(I dont see the point in trying to prove that United give young players a chance. It universally accepted.)

Januzaj, McNair, Blackett and Wilson have all had plenty of game time for us this season and you don't have any established names to worry about so that point is moot, and unlike you we are under immense pressure to make the top 4 where as no one expected you too. LvG's reputation has always been to give young players a chance and he knows Memphis, he's the one who gave him a chance at the world cup. As for training facilities, I think we are covered there. So as I said, unless the London nightlife is his key deciding factor, you have no chance of getting him if we want him.

You have better training facilities than United?

He was a 16 year old who knew he wasn't going to get ahead of Evra at left back or Ronaldo on the wing. It was a wise career move. Depay would play here which makes it irrelevant to point out Bale as an example.

No one would pick Spurs ahead of United if they were to have the same role at both.

Yeah he's being completely disingenuous, I refuse to believe that anyone dumb enough to think that's a valid comparison could operate a computer. What is it with Spurs fans on here?

You have convinced me......i will be now a Tottenham fan......everything must be amazing in Tottenhamland

There's a reason for this: Bale had already decided on Spurs over United.
How is that a reason? Why would a club not accept a bid because of where the player wants to go? That's stupid and obviously you have nothing to back that, as usual.

Yes, because you were shite and he knew he could get games for you he wouldn't get at United at 16.

Your levels of delusion have reached all-time high if you think Spurs are more attractive to players than United. United do and will always represent a significant step up from Tottenham.

That wasn't the point at issue, as you know. So why bother posting irrelevancies?

Come on @GlastonSpur! Basically trying to argue that Tottenham are a bigger club than United. I suggest you spend your time more wisely.

On the contrary, it's those arrogant and stupid United fans who try to argue that United is bigger and better than Spurs in every single respect bar none who need to spend their time more wisely.

Such fans are unable to accept / believe that Spurs could possibly have better training facilities in place than United ... though probably most of them are ignorant of what Spurs have recently put in place in this sphere.

Such fans are unable to accept / believe that Spurs could possibly have a better recent record of youth development than United, even though the current Spurs first XI alone provides abundant evidence.

Based on what? Show me the evidence. So you are basically saying that Spurs are better at everything.........

You made the statement..Back it up.

I can't be bothered. As I've said, if you want to know about Spurs training facility then Google it.

And anyway, I could just as well say: you deny the statement, so back up your denial.

If you're going to post links, you might try to make sure they are up to date

As far as I know your training facilities opened in 2012 and this article was released mid 2013... so not sure what your point is.

I remember Glaston crowing about how great spurs were because they signed Giovani dos santos.

There is no way Depay will chose Tottenham over us. But Tottenham probably do have the best training facilities in the league.

Ah ha.."I can't be bothered" in otherwards there isn't any evidence just fan based propaganda.

Can we keep on topic, please?
There's no topic anymore, Depay knows Spurs are interested and he won't go to an obscure Manchester United club when he can choose the mighty successful Tottenham of Hotspur. Close thread I'd say.

Spurs will beat us to Depay and Levy will win the Transfer Window Trophy again :(.
