It is a little hard to feel sorry for either of the Spanish giants though, when their tv deal is so horrifically uncompetitive, and they've for years been able to bully the rest of Europe with their financial power.
I suppose other fans would say the same about us, but we've generally had nowhere near those two's pulling power.

Suárez is a nice guy off-field, and ironically he is the one who suffers racist abuse. The Uruguayan honour and values system and how it manifests in their (street) football where he grew up is different. You do it for the "family" (the team), as does the opponent, because that's honour. Of course he's such an amateur that he failed to shake it off when having a career elsewhere where this is frowned upon, but still I feel he should bite back.
