We are not stepping stone FC. We should look after other options. Every top club want De Ligt because of his potential to be one of the best defender in the future. He's not even one of the best at the moment. If he's not planning to spend his peak on us, then we should move on.
Well, if he isn't afraid of competition and isn't after the money (Raiola client not arsed about money? Sure!), then he wouldn't be stalling on Barca. Literally only one of those things would prompt him to reconsider.

Well just get a 5+1 contract that is automatically extendable at the will of the club, and after 3 years, re-assess. Things change quickly in football, we go back to the top, we show promise, people are not going to leave just for challenge. It's like us, we don't change companies just for the sake of it.
