But THIS season Tel got minutes as a winger and Musiala didn't.
True

The key point though is Musiala has had no need to get minutes as a winger this season because he is first choice at 10 and the wide attackers have all mostly been available fitness wise this season. This does not in any way negate the fact if ever the situation were to arise. A Musiala would 100% be picked to started out wide ahead of Tel by Kompany. For strict reasonable footballing reasons. Not because Tel isn't talented enough reasons.

Tel's biggest issue has been Kompany sees him as a wide man rather than a 9 in his preffered mode of play. Yet he already has a host of wide men he should rightly pick over Tel out wide. Which in turn has significantly cut into the decent playing time Tel had in the previous season. Because one factor remains out wide Tel is out of position. His natural roles are cf and second striker.

dodged a bullet on that one. he's okay but theres only so much potential we can support. let spurs pay Bayern inflated fees for their cast offs

If true, that'll come back to bite us I think. He'll be very good for them while we scrape together a few quid to replace our duds.
I'd have liked him. 19 and bursting with potential. But unless he turns into a central striker and prolific goalscorer I don't think I will feel that way. We have Amad, Garnacho, maybe now Mainoo who are all young, can play behind the striker and should all improve a lot. As well as Fernandes. What we lack is someone who can punt the ball into the back of the net. A goalscoring forward should be priority 1A in my humble little opinion

I’d much prefer a loan with option, but if Spurs are offering £50m straight up for him then Bayern would be crazy to turn that down. Seems like a panic buy for them considering their recent form and only recently spending £60m on Solanke.

Is he any good? Has he shown something more than for example Garnacho? Should be yes x 2 if we even consider to sign him.

From what I've read he's stalled this season but was breaking out last season.
I don't know where his level is in comparison to Garnacho but there may be a consideration of how he fares centrally vs Garnacho when making this decision.

Meh, 50m for a raw young wide forward striker hybrid really shouldn’t be a priority for us. I just saw Raees’ clip on him and he looks like he needs a lot of work - running aimlessly and dribbling into players quite a lot. He might have potential but that’s a big fee.

Sounds a bit like a Martial regen

Not in my opinion.

Bit of a tricky comparison since Garnacho is basically an established player for us while Tel is struggling for minutes, but there's also a reason why Garnacho plays so much

I really don't think selling Garnacho to bring in another prospect is the way to go. Rashford going is a different thing altogether, he's finished at United IMO, I can't see a way back for him.

Tel looks like a good prospect, but IMO he's not what we need right now, we need someone that can come in and lead the line now.

Don't think he's anything like Martial to be fair. Probably not as good in small spaces as Martial, more of a straight line runner but has a really good shot on him and decent header of the ball. Supposed to have very good leadership skills and character so not like a lot of the muppets we've signed.
