Mason Mount's Many Misfortunes

Getting pretty worrying with Mount, as this must be the 9th or 10th separate injury here.
Literally can't stay fit for more than about 60mins of action.
It's his third injury.

We obviously don't know what the issue is, but you're always far more likely to pick up new injuries right after returning from a lengthy lay-off. And our record this season has been especially bad, so one has to wonder what the feck is going on behind the scenes.

He is a rich man's Beek with the fitness of Phil Jones. Needs to be binned in the summer.

Full preseason and injured after 1.5 games. Wrong player for the wrong position on top. Whoever agreed to hand him the no.7 shirt needs to be sacked today

He still has 4 more years left in his contract, is on high wages and is injury prone. That is a triple threat. Dude is going nowhere.

It's almost like signing players after they missed most of the last season is a bad idea

All in all will be a contender for our worst ever signing for so many reasons - price, wages, 1 year from being free agent, wasn't needed at any point since we signed him, always injured, has done the square root of f all on the rare occasions he has been able to play.

Wont be able to shift him now.

Hopefully pretty minor and be back after the break. Pretty please.

Been reasonably happy with him in the first two matches (pre-injury) too.

Madness that he's hurt again though, after basically a year off, then a full pre-season.

The problem is Ten Hag and it will probably be apparent by October time.

The most post Fergie United signing so far? The only thing missing is leaks to the media.

Our midfield is looking pretty thin again. Maybe eriksen will fare better next to ugarte, looks like he'll be playing a fair bit.

Ugarte, Casemiro, Mainoo, Collyer and Eriksen for the deeper positions.

Bruno and then Amad/Zirkzee for the #10 position (though not ideal). Hope we don't see Eriksen play.

So Mason Mount might miss month's matches manifesting more misfortunate muscular mishaps, meaning much morose malignment must meander monotonously? Mayhem.

Shocked, I tell you. A player who has spent most of the last two years injured. Murtough's last gift, just like Sancho was Woodward's.

Midfield?! Which games have you been watching?

Time to play players in their actual positions. Hopefully this is the end of the terrible two false 9s experiment. Mount should solely be Bruno's backup in easy cup/EL games.

I guess the signs should have made it obvious. Schweinsteiger, pig climber. Mount, hamstring. Another player with a big reputation and questionable injury record comes to the club and spends most of his time feckered.

Mason Mount: mild, mundane mess; mojo missing; muscles mangled; misfiring misfit.

Meanwhile, meatball manager's misdeeds mounting; mission majorly mangled. Manhood missing? Maybe...

Ba da dun dun dun
Another hamstring bites the dust
Ba da dun dun dun
Mason Mount leg’s are bust

Great signing he turned out to be. He'll feature in one of them articles talking about what went wrong for ETH after Ten Hag gets the sack.

I think it might even be the biggest cause of his downfall. It would be interesting to know the back up plan if Mount wasn't signed.

Would we have tried to lure him on a free with a massive? Would we have beaten Liverpool or Arsenal to his signing? Who would have we signed instead?
