We'll get him for 15m in January, or for free next June.
Chelsea are fukn idiots, serves them right for following the Levy playbook.
What does he do until then?

I hope your wrong and we just put an offer in. What kind of price do you think it'll end at? You seem to be open or resigned to him leaving, what number do you think it would take? This could be a very clever move from you guys. It's effectively sell us Mount for a fair price or watch us push the price of Caicedo through the roof and make life very difficult for you.
I don't think you have much real intention of buying Caicedo, but you do intend to put as much pressure on Chelsea as possible.
unless another team comes in for him, he sits on the bench and tries to keep his mouth shut i guess. maybe we could take him on loan? What does he do until then?

that would not be beyond the realm of possibility and the thoughts of it makes me shudder. i just hope we hold our nerve though; we really need to stop being obsequious wankers in these negotiations.I bet we sign him in August for more than 55m
all good things come to those who wait.Long time until January though
Yes, our fourth bid should be an offer of a season-long loan with the option of buying for £0 with £0 add-ons next summer. As a sweetener we’ll offer to pay 20% of his salary during his loan….unless another team comes in for him, he sits on the bench and tries to keep his mouth shut i guess. maybe we could take him on loan?

80m
We should be all in for Caicedo, hard.
Or Mount has a great season and Chelsea give him anything he wants to stay, or Man City or another team who have probably had a better season than us come in for him.... I am not saying mount is the be all and end all, I think wherever he plays next season or the one after that he will be back to being one of the best players in the league, if he is not with us I think we will come to regret it to some extent especially if we buy a flop in his place. We'll get him for 15m in January, or for free next June.

Walking away is music to my ears.
Stone suggesting we might look to make a offer for Caicedo.
We will.Provided we get Caicedo AND cheap creative CM who can chip in with goals too
I have never found him to be special for Chelsea and England, a decent footballer nothing more. IF we get him, I hope he surprises me in a good way.

The manager apparently approved thisWhatever we as fans think, the point is that ETH rates him and has prioritized his signing. The club are making heavy weather of it according to the MEN, with United refusing to meet face-to-face with Chelsea's representatives. If that is true, what message does that send to our manager?
Well United bidding upto £55m m for a player in last year of his Contract should be enough of a message to the Manager that how much he is being backed after Splurging almost £85m on his other priority signing last year As well total outlay of over £200m .Whatever we as fans think, the point is that ETH rates him and has prioritized his signing. Who knows? But journalists close to the club say we’re using Enzo as guide and looking for 100mI hope your wrong and we just put an offer in. What kind of price do you think it'll end at? You seem to be open or resigned to him leaving, what number do you think it would take?
Hopefully that's that...

That we're no mugs? We already indulged him by bending over for Antony.Whatever we as fans think, the point is that ETH rates him and has prioritized his signing. why? Just find it utterly bizarre how people are so anti Mount as though he’s just another Tom Cleverley or Jesse Lingard. He’s obviously a very good player, his stats and player of the year awards don’t lie.
Ten hag obviously feels he would be a key asset and fit in to his system so I’m all for it. There’s also the fact the lad does actually want to come here but I suppose if you don’t want him and don’t feel he would fit in with our system then that’s fine.
Bit of damage control, perhaps. If it's looking likely we won't bid again, Mount has to keep it civil to get proper game time next season
Better all round news for me. Mason Mount stays. Will extend contract too of course acceptable for him too.He was never going to down tools anyway. That was never a concern of mine.
Have you never changed jobs?
Anytime I've left to start another job has been very stressful and emotional for me, even though I knew the new job was better.
