At least me and some other users haven't been able to spot him in this video posted by the official Man Utd website.
EDIT: My bad, he actually was present during training today. Here's a picture!

Do you know him?To be honest I'm not sure that an 18 year old on 1m a year is going to behave that differently from an 18 year old on 2m a year. It's vast money either way. And regardless, Greenwood doesn't seem the type to get carried away.
There's genuinely nothing in this. Ole confirmed he's hoping he's back by the weekend.
It doesn't seem like it's actually an injury though, given Ole's answer. Bit weird to kind of hesitate then play "the injury is between Mason and the medical staff, so I can't reveal that" "it's a niggle". Not the most convincing of lies.

Based on the fact that the manager says outright that it is in fact truly an injury, and that the drinking story is a lie, you conclude that it is not an injury, and that he must therefore be lying, and that the drinking story must therefore be true?
Is your brother a werewolf or a vampire?
Wasn’t his answer. “If that’s the case why is Williams in the squad”. Which basically means to me, Greenwood was drinking but Williams wasn’t, which is Ole’s version of a politically correct response that doesn’t directly criticise Greenwood.Have you actually watched the press conference? I’m not perpetuating the drinking story because there’s nothing to back that up (and I didn’t say anything about it) but Ole said it was an injury and then a journalist followed up to ask ‘what exactly is the injury’ and he gave an incredibly unconvincing response.
Maybe it’s an illness or something else personal that means he doesn’t want to say it in a press conference, but it’s not the normal ‘ahhh he’s just got a bit of a tight hamstring’ or whatever.

This, sick of seeing that, it's a load of absolute bollocks. Plenty of teens mature beyond their years and get their heads down, only a few little shits don't.https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/...=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1603279535
Reliable journalists have now reported the same, pretty much confirms the rumours that he's left out because of non-injury related reasons.
Very disappointing and very, very worrying that he hasn't learned or attempted to change and stay out of trouble after the England debacle.
At least now, hopefully people will stop pretending as if Greenwood is just a normal teen and all of them do this - they do not. He has to change quickly or his career will be in jeopardy. The elite level requires elite professionalism and he has to buckle up.
Depends on what you regard as a fire. There is smoke alright but a kid lighting a cigarette in the woods doesn't mean a wildfire is about to occur. If you are a news-station or posing as such then you can't actually report on it, so they try to build a something story piece by piece around it. The incentive being that Man Utd news sells so yeah..No need to send a precautionary letter of outrage to Elvis Cridlington or be worried in the slightest. It doesn’t sound good at all. Many very different incidents (and rumoured incidents, but there is rarely smoke without fire) lately, and all incredibly stupid ones.
Why can’t he just concentrate on football?
In what alternative universe of yours is The Times and Matt Lawton "unreliable, nonsensical papers"?Some of you lots are sad for the mere fact that you're willing to eat any bs from known unreliable and nonsensical papers so you can have a crack at bashing your own players. Fecking pathetic.

You didn't put anything in between there. I like it. It does seem like that's the case though doesn't it.Some of you lots are sad for the mere fact that you're willing to eat any bs from known unreliable and nonsensical papers so you can have a crack at bashing your own players. Fecking pathetic.
It looks like a made up story by Arsenal or Liverpool supporting journalists.DM say it's 'general tardiness' and the Times are going with punctuality too.
Wouldn't read too much into it, and if there is truth behind it, you'd hope a little rocket would be all that he needs
As sad as it is, sometimes it takes multiple screw ups before the penny drops. Hopefully this is just a blip.Real disappointing. To be thrown out of the England squad then quickly get dropped for United shows he’s not learning from his mistakes, I thought he would knuckle down after the England incident.

I think there is something in this. It feels like he is going through some form of delayed adolescence or that his ego cant handle the success and adulation from last season.Real disappointing. Because he's young, dumb and full of c....umWhy can’t he just concentrate on football?
Cash?Because he's young, dumb and full of c....um

The DM are running with this as their cover story.
What is actually fascinating is how some people are willing to set aside logic and reason, principles and ideology to tell themselves something is okay, untrue or impossible because they do not want to say something bad about the club or one of the players.
Greenwood was dropped for attitude reasons and he was just kicked out of the England team for a well published and admitted breach of the rules. How can anyone seriously deny this guy's got off the pitch issues he has to deal with? Set your emotions aside and face reality.
I love this. You start off very reasonably but then in the end "or worried in the slightest"... what?
We can't write him off or say he's the new Ravel but to say there is no need to worry in the slightest, whatsoever? Clearly false by every measure. A player involved in half a dozen incidents within the span of a few months who doens't look to be changing is definitely, absolutely a cause for worry.

You'd have thought he'd get his life together after the England debacle to be honest.DM say it's 'general tardiness' and the Times are going with punctuality too.

That wouldn't be the DM that are part owned by those Camel abusers who own Man City would it?
I blame Southgate for immediately throwing him into the limelight with the interview on his call up, something we'd been trying to avoid for ages to keep him sheltered.
It was a joke, for a name like yours you seem to have trouble chilling. You'd have thought he'd get his life together after the England debacle to be honest.
Disgusting, racist comment. The Times reported it, it's fact.
Uh what? He was in the spotlight for negative reasons prior, due to his house parties during quarantine and the subsequent noise complaints.
The interview did absolutely nothing and I don't understand why it's an issue for Greenwood to have an interview that ALL other players do? Saka, AMN, Grealish and the other debutants were also in interviews, press conferences and media during the England break and nobody complained - maybe it's actually Greenwood's behaviour that is at fault rather than anything else?
Why the need to blame others for Mason's mistakes? I don't get it.
