People need to calm down a little bit...He’s not a better finisher than R9 was either. Ronaldo is possibly the best player to ever kick a ball.

This bloke was doing videos before the Athletic came alongIt's like 5 minutes of stating the obvious. This is where I think Athletic are giving unnecessary content.

Ah yeah wasn't a jibe at you, just felt the TIFO Stuff stretch out generallyI was quite impressed by Mason's stats against players like Salah. Maybe it wasn't worth five minutes but I learned stuff so I figured I'd share.
This. Some said he was the new R9...he needs time.Didn't turn up today sadly. Just shows we can't put too much of a burden on a young player which is understandable.
Thought he was limping a bit going off but hopefully it’s nothing majorThank god he didn't get injured.
Tbf he was marked a lot tighter than Rashford today, they gave him the space and let him 1v1 their RB which proved to give them some issues.
Mason didn't get a chance all match, you have to say Southampton played well.
Not Mata as someone needed to track Betrand which is why James came on. I hope people see the need for Sancho nowwas invisible today. But that's OK. Wasn't his fault that we dropped points.
Should have been subbed at 60 mins with Mata.
Tracking back ?Not Mata as someone needed to track Betrand which is why James came on. I hope people see the need for Sancho now
We struggled to get him on the ball in the right places.
I think that was an important game for him tbh.
He's going to get thugged up by cnuts like Romeu and he's got to shrug it off. He'll get a few more reducers between now and the end of the season.
Good spot. Yes, James should have come on long before he did.Not Mata as someone needed to track Betrand which is why James came on. I hope people see the need for Sancho now
No we cant expect Greenwood to be on it for a full season at his ageTracking back ?

Mejbri or Garner are that type of midfielder, but they're obviously too young right now.Is it just me, or do we all wish we had a Roy Keane type of leader in this team? Someone loyal who didn't care about ego, who had his teammates backs, who'd kick down a player if it meant protecting another player. I think Mason was lucky to walk out of that game without being injured, and I would have liked McTominay to come on before it was too late just to give it back ten times to Romeu, just to let people know not to feck with us. I know this might seem petty, but I'm just sick of refs letting shit like this go on a weekly basis, hacking down some of the most stunning players in the country, while awarding silly speculative goals against us. We need someone to take one for the team.
If I was facing Greenwood now with the streak he‘s on I’d be trying to bully and kick the shite out of him too because very few defenders will be able to stop him honestly. He’ll have to learn how to deal with that treatment, all the best players get it. Agreed on the Keane point, that’s where you want the likes of Pogba or Matic to go in hard on Romeu. The more I think about that Romeu challenge the more incensed i get. Times like this I wish we had a Keane on the pitch to return the favour with interest.
Yeah I know, we saw it at the extreme end with Ronaldo. I'm half hoping Mason forms his own mean streak and gives it back himself, just to make the opposition think twice the next time.If I was facing Greenwood now with the streak he‘s on I’d be trying to bully and kick the shite out of him too because very few defenders will be able to stop him honestly. Nah, he was double marked, kicked on a lot and clearly our midfield got dominated it didn't help.He was very, very poor today no question about that.
