Martín Zubimendi | £51m release clause

I mean, he made the right call. Their squad is utter dross and without Klopp, they're going to have it tough.

I wonder how many views this being has generated from this masterpiece of supreme and absolute weirdness.

This level of the absence of self respect attained here surely amounts to a rare form of art!
Art-shmart, all I see is just a pretty average Liverpool fan

I thought they'd go for someone alitte more creative.
Outside of Odegaard, they're all abit to similar.

With Jorginho and Unnamed footballer from Barnet on their way out I suppose it makes sense to sign another DM, but having Rice, Merino and Zubimendi feels a bit much. Can't see any of them being happy on the bench.

Always made more sense as an Arsenal signing for me. Partey and Jorginho going, we've wanted him for a couple of years, a Basque manager, ex team mates in Merino and Odegaard, much more competition at Liverpool in his position.

However please sign some feckin attacking talent!!!

That Liverpool pull is in the dumps, even when theyre top of the league it seems.

Strange signing another midfielder at Rice's position and after investing in Merino last summer.

They need a striker to actually win things but I guess splurging on more midfielders is a priority

Talk of Jorginho going back to Brazil and who knows what happens to Partey, I assume

Think there's plenty of football to be played for Arsenal across comps whereby they can complement 3 CM's and give them enough gametime... theoretically they could all start 25 PL games.

This would be a brilliant signing for them, but I'm dubious that Zubimendi would leave after turning down Liverpool in the summer.

Partey and Jorginho both out of contract the summer (albeit a 1 year option to extend on the latter). Zubimendi would be their #6 and play most weeks I'd imagine, Rice plays in that more advanced #8 position now and Merino is better suited to that as well nowadays so this arguably isn't really direct competition for either.

Moreover, it's a strange signing for Arsenal because he's only 5'11".
