Deserved red card. He's been doing it for years. I'd have done the same if I were Aguero.

He was decent before the red, to be fair. Then again, I think the game plan suits Fellaini's talents and limitations.

That was a stupid mistake by Fellaini, but we shouldn't rush to talk about leaving of staying.

I said a few days ago he is an enigma. Actually put in a good shift and then loses his head.

Last thing we need is another 3 game ban. Just can't help himself at times.

I'm actually having a laugh over this, and I can't stand the guy. Watching the replay is just hilarious to see him lose his cool like that. And I'm probably taking it well because I won't have to watch him play for a few games now.

The entire situation was just fecking comical. Gets a correct yellow card for pulling down Aguero in a potentially dangerous position (this was a good decision from Fellaini). He then starts pleading his innocence and wastes time on that, so he isn't ready when the free kick is taken and is already behind Aguero again. There's some contact and Aguero goes down, hoping to get another yellow for Fellaini. Fellaini doesn't want to leave anything up to chance so he headbutts Aguero and gets a straight red. I don't even think Atkinson was going to book Fellaini for the second challenge, but Fellaini just made it a hundred times easier for him.

Fellaini had a good game but was stupid at the end but which one of us wouldn't have, gone the opportunity!?

Got conned by Aguero.

But that is just stupid and he should not fall for that. He and Herrera's temper annoys me.

I like Bailly's calmness though.

I've defended him but we do need to sign another midfielder. I'd still keep him though but on reduced playing time.

Unfortunately a couple of good games in every ten is not enough to warrant a space in the first team every week.

In fact, I think the bigger problem is when he isn't good, he's usually very bad.

Exactly, which is why I desperately want rid of him. It's no coincidence that for the last few seasons we've played so much utterly tumescent football with him in the team.

Just can't explain his actions sometimes. Totally lost his head and nearly landed us in it. Mad.

He won't be gotten rid of and that's the most annoying thing. I just know he's going to be here for at least another 3 seasons.

Seems to do something like that every time he's beginning to win me over.

Just sums Fellaini up in a nutshell that.

He deserves to be sold off the back of that, it was pure mutiny.

Nearly threw away any chance we had, thank god the others can hold their bottle. Absolute prat.

Has had few good games in a row but was awful tonight, looked clueless when ball was at his feet and always couple yard off the pace. Another inconsistent season and has only emphasised fact we need better options in midfield and he needs to play less.

Hardly anything in it imo... we should appeal. Also Aguero moved his head at Fellaini aswell. The pathetic flop on the ground made up Atkinson's mind

I hope he is not here next season, he offers absolutely nothing whether defensively or offensively.

That must rank as one of the most insane minute's action from any player ever.

The first foul was decent, take a booking miles from goal, but overkeen to foul him straight away, and then acted like he'd never played a pro game in getting suckered into a face off with a guy half his height.

Stupid work, and rules him out for 3 games.

Thank goodness this isn't a vintage City team, and it was quite late on.

Can you imagine another 20mins like that last 10

He's been playing well. He's genuinely a loss at the moment.

Not sure what it means for his long term future. Just another bit of evidence that he can't be trusted to keep his head.

Well we played like Everton away, so obviously he looked decent

He was the worst player on the pitch before the red. The sent-off just make it plenty obvious how horrible he's.

Hope we never see his hair again. Whatever good matches he can make he suddenly bring these shite games from time to time and it costs us a lot. He has no brain in his head.
