I have honestly got to the stage where I just sit back and smile. Thinking about what it will feel like looking back in 20 years. That's the only way I can get through watching him in a red shirt. Just thinking about how I will be able to tell my kids well at least we don't have this Belgian called Fellaini.

And got two assists.

God I fecking hope everybody plays for the opposition like this.

This thread turned into cringeworthy piece of shit long time ago but today you'd think he bombared some country.
Two assists? After he missed two of them and coincidently dropped to our other attackers?

What about him breaking up plays all the time and blocking shots? Also not having the vision to pass to RVP?

I think you're talking dog shite.

I don't blame him, its not his fault SAF chose Moyes as our manager and so he joined as as a result.

Its in his best interest, and ours, that we take the financial hit and sell him this summer.

He wasn't even moyes first choice.

I remember feeling some sympathy for him because we were so public with our targets, and only ended up signing him when all others failed. I hoped he could prove himself. He didn't. He's so petulant on the pitch it really makes my blood boil when he loses the ball, stumbles, then just goes feck it as the opposition runs away with the ball

No, after winning a header for Wilson for the first and after shooting it straight at the keeper, Wilson scored the rebound, have I missed something ?

Looks like thinking is not your strongest trait so don't try to overuse it.

Edit: looking at your edit, yea, what about him not having the vision, my fecking God, have you noticed he can't fly either ? And yea, blocked whole one shot while being back to Büttner. You claimed that I talk shit about those two assists, I'm not judging his overall performance, just dropped by to say he's got two assists which is right.

I know it's trendy to crucify Fellaini nowadays but when you're trying to do it, atleast do it properly because otherwise you look like an idiot.

I seen somebody earlier saying he should play ahead of Carrick because he couldn't be worse. No great surprise that he was much worse.

Amongst the worst players I've ever seen here based on this season's contribution. Should never play for us again. All Moyes should be extinguished from the club.

He just doesn't fit into the style of play that we need to go forward. Even the youngsters (who both impressed) can play a quick, effective, attacking passing game. Fellaini cannot and is a liability. Whatever his strengths or what he does for Belgium really doesn't matter. He will never be good enough for what we want to do.

Soldado surely? Fellaini has played a handful of decent games. Plus was carrying an injury.

Soldado has been ineffective. He's not really upset the balance of his team. Fellaini has at times looked so out of depth that we've had to carry him (though I still think in a particular system, he can be great, maybe not for us though).

I'm currently indifferent to Fellaini because the by and large of it, is of our current squad he has the 3rd highest goals and assists behind Rooney and RVP totaling at 16, which is no mean feat even for an advanced midfielder. However, he has been so wasteful all season! He wants too much time on the ball and I think he's still not fully come to terms with playing for United. If he doesn't improve next season I think we'll ship him out.

I don't think that's quite right.

he was pretty dire tonight, hard really to find any positives.

think it will be best for all concerns if he found himself another club this summer, if that possible with the wages we are paying him

Where are you seeing these numbers? ESPN shows him with 0 goals 1 assist for United in all competitions this season.

Say what now? Where in Gods name did you get those stats? That would have been a very decent season. He has 0 goals and maybe 2 assists.

 I thought Welbeck was third and Mata fourth for combined goals + assists.. And I'm pretty sure Hernandez, Januzaj, Valencia are ahead of Fellaini too..

Fellaini hasn't upset the balance of the team. We've had several stinkers with and without him. Both, thus far have been awful signings.

Not gonna lie, I was so happy when Fellaini's shot was saved and it gave Wilson a sitter. Would have been so annoyed if Fellaini got his goal after playing so fecking shite.

I'm normally one to hold back on giving Fellaini stick because I appreciated how good he was at Everton. Today however, he was piss poor.

Am I reading this correctly? Are you saying Fellaini is third in assists for the season? Please clear this up

OK, I'll give you half. He's upset the balance further.

This is actually his firt assist in the league. One in the CL. Shite player. Shows how some will lie just to defend him

Sorry, I meant off the back of last season. Coming into the start of this season, without the purchase of Mata, we had Rooney and RVP who had done the business and Fellaini who had bagged 11 league goals and 6 assists so he didn't look anywhere near as bad as he does at the minute. I think theres a decent player in there, but if he's not mentally up to it then he'll never succeed.

He’s like the fattest boy in class. He’s being picked so that he wouldn’t feel bad. You tell him to play at the back, but then you see he’s slow and always losing it, so you move him higher, but you don’t pass him the ball unless you are forced to, because he ruins every move.

He is not good enough for us, but I don’t blame him. Moyes knew what he was getting with Fellaini. Time to move on for him I guess, he has a lot to offer for mid-table teams.

I thought tonight's performance was a decent one from him. He more or less assisted our first two goals, though the second one isn't going to go down as one in the official stats. He made some good tackles and displayed some great chest control. His touch can let him down though, which is problematic. I don't understand why Giggs played him ahead of a better #10. Why were the players reluctant to cross the ball? Buttner was free quite a few times but refused to cross the ball. This whole situation is essentially sad.

@Blue always red Keep in mind that he posted those numbers playing for Moyes' Everton. Moyes is gone now, I don't see any future for him tbh. He will be lucky to survive the summer clearout.

I pretty much doubt the second assist will count. It was a shot straight in the keeper I don't think they take that into account.

It's four assists in all comps.

Villa, Shakthar ( for Danny's goal ) and today two.

Are you really going to dumb down his statistics now ( which is whole four assists ) ?

I'm just going by what Whoscored.com has listed and it's one assist all competitions, 0 goals. The assist was today. No idea if they are counting assists differently than your source but today I only counted one assist as well, the deflected shot surely doesn't count as an assist, does it?
