Would rather we got Quaresma for a year if we are getting ex-Jose players he didn't play.

I'd definitely take Arnautovic as back up striker/wide forward. I think he's looked a lot better through the middle at West Ham. Great first touch as well, could definitely stick with him up top.

Mandzukic is so much better player than Arnautovic in almost every aspect of the game, that people who claim otherwise should be thred banned, for crying out loud.

Physical player to lead the line when Lukaku is out. Dzeko would probably be too pricey for a backup role. Mandzukic might not be a bad option. I'd expect this might spell the end for one of Rashford/Martial.

Mandzukic would be a great signing. Experience, works hard, scores goals and is versatile. We need leaders and warriors in our team. He would be a great squad option.

With the Fred signing being very exciting and possibly being the missing link so that Pogba can be freed while having and extra DM who can also be a deep playmaker - I think Mandzukic makes a lot of sense as a Fellani replacement to come for last 15 mins in games to change the strategy in tight games.

I think Mourinho doesn't like the fact that he has no striker to play long balls to when Lukaku isn't playing. I just wish bringing in someone like Mandzukic doesn't stop us from vastly importing our transition play with the ball on the ground. Something we are nowhere near good enough at present.

I like to get mario, if lukaku ankle problems linger into the season we are in trouble with rashford up top. We need a capable backup.
I wouldn't mind Arnautovic as backup to Lukaku, think he's a good player, and very underrated. Always gives his all.
