Although I rate Gotze, I don't think we will buy him or if we even need him now that LVG is starting to play Januzaj in the middle. Will probably end up at a club like Spurs as most of the top teams are well stocked in his position.

I think that or a number 9 is exactly what we'll buy before this window ends. Either a striker and put Rooney number 10 or a player to play behind Rooney. This is why we are currently playing Januzaj there.

Or move Mata and get a winger with pace. It's pace we are lacking.
Mata has shown he is capable of playing those passes when players are moving around him.
It's do or don't for him now. He will stay, but if he won't improve, ways will part next season if it's not Klopp who will be replacing Guardiola.
We don't though. Januzaj is pretty much the only one used there atm. And Rooney when Hernandez is used up front. Herrera is a number 8, as is Fellaini (or a striker in the closing stages of a game). We could do with him imo.
He could make sense for you, yes. You might be in the pole position next year if he won't work for Bayern this season,
Götze and Müller for Rooney would be a bit muppet show-ish (because a super expensive captain that is arguably over the top in a swap deal is...) However, seeing it happen would be so incredible. Two world cup winners (which is also younger and more hungry and probably as talented) would be superb.
We really are clinging on here aren't we?! It's just not going to happen. I don't think for one second we even want him... But LVG did say he was after someone that the media hadn't reported? Maybe that's the issue... Maybe he won't sign a player once the media have reported it.

Why the heck not? Then we put on Fellaini and PC and anyone can have an assist, just send the ball as high as possible into the air and hope for the best. Barca won`t stand a chance!

I see a problem... Fellaini would be sent off all the time because the more you ask him to do in the air the more elbows will fly. And Crouch despite being 10ft tall actually becomes QB midget when he jumps and can be out jumped by Evra...
I mean it's a good window and a good squad as it stands. Plus we're integrating 5 new players to our squad. Some people probably wish Redknapp was a better manager so they could be Redknapp groupies first and football fans second.
