Looks like City is leading the race
A race of one.

Or maybe Adebayor is just shite.Tevez was a good signing albeit overpriced, Adebayor will probably have a better year this season than last; they certainly improved with those signings that he made
I get the feeling if Balotelli really wanted to go there that this deal would be done, I dont think he really cares to go there
Adebayor's great when he can be arsed.
Apparently the scheduled meeting between Balotelli's agent raiola and City officials did not take place. According to the Italian press, Raiola said that he and his client are not in a hurry, but City are.

we don't need a striker just a super class central midfielder.

This thread is going to look so pathetic when he signs for City, on a similar note can one of the mods delete the Joe Cole to utd thread to save us more embarrassment.
embarassing why? we all know city have been favourites from day 1 and if he signs for them it wont be the end of the world for us.

I'm still stuggling to see why a lot of you are getting your knickers in a twist over this Balotelli dude.
What the feck has he done apart from disrupt the dressing room, throw hissy fits etc?
Sure he's got 'potential' to be a great player, but the fact that he's an utter cnut surely sets the alarm bells ringing. feck him and his overblown ego.
But, but he's got a big name!
I hope he does sign for City, i think this boys a ticking time bomb who could easily cause trouble at the drop of a hat, and for the money being talked about i just dont think hes worth it, lots of talent of course but loads of players have talent, if you havnt got the right mindset nor desire to make the best of it your on the same path as the Ricardo Quaresmas of this world, all the ability in the world but an appalling attitude that’ll never make it at the top level, Mourinhio said time and again last season at Inter if Balotelli even trained at 50% hed be on of the best in the world, that’s an amazing comment really about a professional player, Balotellis attitude stinks.
Id actually love for him to sign for City I think hed do no small amount of damage to that dressing room, and id much rather him go there than say a proven goalscorer like Dzeko or an already established top class player, Balottelis an accident waiting to happen and i cant wait for him to cause uproar in the city camp.
Put it another way if he was that special then city wouldn’t be the only club in for him would they, its telling that neither of the two Spanish giants are even glancing at him and I very much doubt weve shown any interest either, hence why the player and his agent are continually stalling the deal, they want a big club to come in for him as clearly he doesn’t fancy joining a europa legaue club who are second best even in their own city, he clearly dosnt want to go to city but their the only ones in for him, none of the big clubs are interested and Inter are more than happy to sell it would seem.
No but it's going to make it more difficult for us to pretend we never wanted him.[
Well he ll be in good company then with: Ozil, Villa, Silva, Dzeko....

What fans and the manager want tend to be different things.
For those posters who posted about wanting us to sign him, why should they even be allowed to have this thread deleted and those comments forgotten even if he does sign for a rival?
Because in a month or two I'm going to have to pretend to my City mates that we always thought Balotelli was a petulant little twat and I never wanted him near our dressing room, that's going to be quite difficult when they all have access to Redcafe.

Maybe you shouldnt be so pathetic?
For a start, who says the views of the majority of redcafe posters are an accurate representation of the views of the majority of manchester united supporters? Or that the majority are always right? The majority wanted us to sign Hargreaves and Berbatov. And Silva. And so on.
I want him here and I won't be ashamed of that if he does sign for City. If he's managed correctly which I think Ferguson could do, then I think he has the height, physique, power, pace, awareness and technical ability to be one of the best in the world.
Sadly I think if he ends up at City he wont be managed very well, will be exposed to the press rather than protected and alongside the likes of Tevez, Bellamy, Adebayor and possibly Robinho rather than Giggs, Scholes and Neville he's going to gave the wrong influence away from the pitch and that will be terrible for him.
He has the potential to be the next Ronaldo and his next choice will decide wether he has the chance to fulfil that or I think he'll become the next Robinho.
This would be easier to describe to someone who actually has football banter with friends.
.....this week. Apparently he's also cancelled a meeting with City's officials yesterday. He really doesn't seem to be in a hurry at all, surely there must then be more than just one suitor for Balotelli and that other party may well be us. Bryan Robson just said on SSN, that he's sure that SAF would bring in a top class striker if one became available. We may well be in the race for Balotelli.

Everyone does.
Not everyone is so pathetic that they have to pretend things didnt happen though. Or need to use an internet forum as some kind of proof. What fun you must all have.
Perhaps you take posts a little too seriously, has that ever occured to you? I was just pointing out that it's funny we all have to pretend we never wanted Silva, Balotelli etc.

Hes just trying desperately to drum up interest from any of the big clubs, its clear Balotelli really doesn’t fancy moving to City hence the continued delaying tactics of him and his agent, the agent and the player are desperate for a respectable sized club to come in for his client, lets face it leaving the Italian and European champions Inter Milan for Man city is a massive step down in quality never mind culture, champions league football to Europa league stuff, title winners to 5th place also-rans...its entirely understandable neither the player nor agent are in any rush to do any deal with a club citys size.
No we dont. Whats the point in even talking to people about football if everyone is just lying anyway? Take it like a man and admit you were wrong from time to time for crying out loud.
All agents care about is money. Even if Balotelli wasn't too eager to join City, his agent would jump at the chance given just how much they'd offer in wages, so he can get a good pay off.
