I’ll say it now then. We’ll live to regret this, it’s a mistake.
Given the fact that we tried him in every position up top. The man refusing to run and train. Under multiple managers, with multiple team combinations, he is jogging on the pitch and partying in the eve of games off the pitch. Nobody else wants him, how else you'd do differently. Please do share.

Christ, we've let Beckham, Ruud, Stam, Tevez, Ronaldo go - all off the backs of world class performances mere weeks and months before selling. Rashford's last consistent great season was in 22-23. There's no mistake in trying to escape from the embarrassment that is paying him more than 99% of the players in this league.

We should never have sold Beckham.

Nonsense, he's had plenty of time and chances here. If he's succesful another place then fine, he's not going to turn it around here no matter what.
Waste of money for us and waste of a career for him.

Which high profile player is available for a small fee? What one needs to understand is that Saudi aren’t just after young players with potential, but they want the high profiles names to start attracting any attention to their league.

Obviously Ronaldo is at a different level but players like Rashford and Casemiro will provide a lot of hype for their league to capitalise on.
I think you are overlooking the fact that only a handful of the Saudi clubs have the money for big deals and they also have a limit on the number of foreign players they can sign. There was one window where they went for high priced veterans just to grab some headlines but since then they have focused on sensible signings to grow their league.

It’s a huge shame he was never able to consistently show his top level. He could and should have been the star at United for many years. However his pace dropping slightly with age/injuries just exposed that he had no plan B. Hope he is able to do decent at Villa and at least get some kind of career again.

Good to get rid. I was even getting fed up for the manager having to speak about this has been for several weeks.

Whether he does good there or not, it doesn't matter to us other than increasing value no point in future I told you so in either camp. He's decided he's done here and we can all hear PRashfords story in his Netflix documentary once his PR team have finished scripting it. Best of luck.

Closer to 80 miles and typically heavy traffic. He'll be driving, or being driven, at least 3.5 hours every day.
How many champaign chillers and how many party girls can fit into his Rolls Royce Wraith? Picture this, instruct the driver to pick them up while he is jogging back and forth at villa park, pseudo pressing defenders. After proclaiming his love for the game on live TV, he can party in the car all the way back to his private jet, still have time left to fly across to watch NBA games before jetting back to training the next day. When they bench him for poor performance he can still visit schools with his mates carrying the camera. It could work.

He wrecked the Rolls and sold it to Mat Armstrong.

Good riddance, deserves to be booed when he returns to Old Trafford aswell.

Rashford has more than played his part with the issues of toxicity, making our beloved club a circus.

I hope he does well, and the optional fee isn't something insulting. Would be nice to get a decent chunk of money for him and move on.

Add that to his wages and it could be a massive help for us in the summer.

Best news possible. Thank you Villa. Hope he turns things around for himself and does well.
