Oh rashy rashy
His poster is on winter's wall
He thought he's succeeding messi
Turned out it was agbonlahor

I read it as the wage coverage by us but I guess it can be interpreted either way
I've stopped my sub to Athletic but the tweet read from a Villa perspective, re. wage coverage , bonus and buy option.

Really fantastic result for us. So happy he won't be moping around Carrington for the next 4 months. Surely a chance for Tel now?

Sounding like a decent enough deal for everyone - best wishes to him, hopefully he gets a permanent move at the end of it.

Good riddance

Supposed United fan taking the piss out of this club for far too long

Well done Amorim for seeing straight through his bullshit and getting rid

Surely if he is going on loan we will get Tel or someone in? We need goals

Yes I know Tel hasn't scored this year but we gotta take a punt on someone

Don't have any hard feelings towards him and hope he can rebuild himself again. Sometimes things don't pan out as you expected, and sometimes you reach a point where it's better for all groups to separate. Rashy has been part of United for 20 years now, and is always going to be a lifelong fan of the club. That doesn't mean it's always going to be a happy environment for him to be in and it's been clear for a few years now that we've needed to part ways. It's sad, but it is what it is and it's long since due. He's needed a change of scenery for one reason or another. The club has been a toxic place for years, the club is also going in a different direction tactically that doesn't suit him like it used to, while Rashford also has probably fallen into some bad groups and personal habits while being here.

Going to Villa is a chance for a fresh start. Hopefully he can get out of his bad habits, because the way they and Emery play football suits Rashford perfectly. It'll be weird seeing him at another PL club, but it is what it is. Glad we can find a solution to this that works for all. He can get a move that suits him, and he's going to a place where he might actually find his form and get a big money move which works better for us, along with the wage issue of course being not as big of a deal there.

I honestly wish him the best. Last few years it's been rough but he's still had a long and impactful career at the club. 138 clubs goals in 426 appearances, 2 league cups, 2 FA cups and 1 Europa League. Could be a lot worse.

If he does well, Barcelona and others will be ready to poach him. Best option would be Villa just taking him right now with an obligation to buy. Anyhow, it’s beautiful that they are taking him on loan without obligation as well.

Wow, so we've actually managed to get him off the books on that wage. Result. Honestly thought he'd end up staying but that Duran move has worked in our favour, and of course Premier League clubs are some of the only clubs capable of paying high wages these days.

Think with Villa's counter attacking style he could do alright there but we'll see, it was definitely right for him and the club to part ways anyway. Hopefully we'll be able to get an attacker in before the end of the window now.

If he goes he will turn it on for 5 months and look good, and I hope Villa trigger the buy option then he will sit on his ass again

All the best to him. It has the potential to be a good deal from all parties involved. He's a different type of left forward to what Villa currently have which may work to his advantage. Their most natural wide players tend to play off the right.

Ramsey is a good player to compete with for Rashford. I prefer Ramsey centrally but Rogers has that position locked at the moment.

Bet he didn't think he'd be ending up at Villa when he came out with all that fresh start stuff a few weeks ago.

Strangley I can see it working out though.

If this does happen then it'll be interesting to see how soon he appears in the first team and how much effort he puts in. Emery won't accept him walking around, but will he be 'forced' to play him because of the size of investment? Of course, Rashers could suddenly start performing, and no doubt the critics will slam United for being a toxic environment.

Fair comment

No doubt the media will be waiting for that. If he does well the club need to be sensible and still take the opportunity to move him on while his stock will be higher and not give into any temptation for him to return. I do think we will in this instance and hopefully that’s the case.

Interested to see what the supposed buy option is.

Hopefully he does well and they take him permanently

I feel Amorim has really dug his heels in. If the higher ups really back him, I think there won't be any way back for Rashford, even if he absolutely kills it at Villa.

With Buendia and Duran leaving I can see why Villa want Rashford and it's great to see the club get significant portion of the wages covered plus bonuses plus an option to buy, win win for all including Rashford who gets to play in CL.

If they cover most of his wage, and they should after getting the Duran money in, then it’s a good deal for everyone.

Hopefully he gets some minutes and goals so we can sell him for a good price in the summer.

Hope he does well there. Getting out of Manchester for a while might help him sort out his life off the pitch.

If he starts busting a gut for Villa instead of his homegrown team, I’ll be really confused.
Well if he does that, it only confirms that he's a cnut... considering all those "I care about and love MU.. bla bla" PR stunts he did throughout the years.
