Is this the first time he's talked about this?
I don't think it's fair to compare modern day players to players that played before the social media era. They would get abused at games. Once they went home, it stopped. That isn't the case for players any more.Example 1578 of Rashford showing he doesn’t have the mentality to be the top man at the club.
There was a period fans were done with Giggs, the whole country hated Ronaldo and fans hated Rooney after the transfer request. None of these guys bitched about being victims, they just got on with their jobs and proved how good they could be.
From the very start I said we’ve given too much too this guy for way too little. He’s entitled and doesn’t understand the demands of being a top player at this club.

I do agree that he likely doesn't have the mentality to be our top man. If you're playing badly, you have to accept that you will be criticised. There are many people that take it too far, but that's life.
You're wrong. Look into the abuse Beckham got and you'll see that.I don't think it's fair to compare modern day players to players that played before the social media era. They would get abused at games. Once they went home, it stopped. That isn't the case for players any more.

Only explanation that would give me sympathy would be if he has been forced to play with injuries throughout the season, because we are so threadbare in attack.
Obviously abuse is never ok, but as depressing as that sounds, it is just a fact of social media these days. So if Rashford is truly bothered by it, he should simply get off those platforms, because he cannot change it. It's probably something many people would benefit from, also beyond professional sports.
The fact he’s up at 1am stewing over things like this isn’t good. Obvious that his head isn’t in the game when he plays too

This 100%, delete it all. You will not regret it.
Never had it and never will.
As for Rashford, I don't know anything about twitter - but as a Manchester Utd player he needs to move on for himself.
These associations were stronger than links between mental health and binge drinking, sexual assault, obesity, and hard drug use, suggesting that these associations may have substantial practical significance as many countries are experiencing rising rates of depression, anxiety, and suicide among teenagers and young adults.
Why not sell to a “domestic rival” ?We’re obviously not going to be selling to a domestic rival. Real Madrid have a surplus of left forwards who are better and younger - one of whom is going to be the player he could potentially replace at PSG. The Italian teams are unlikely to cough up the money needed for a permanent transfer, and pay his salary.
PSG have been heavily linked in the past and it’s been confirmed that his brother/agent was in strong talks with then last season. People are just making assumptions here, nobody is claiming to be a financial director who is privy to who will be interested in Rashford.
He should move abroad. A change of scenery may help him leave his troubles here and revatalise him as a person / player.
On abuse, I’ll never support it. Especially as I imagine some of it will be racial nature. On the football criticism, it is absolutely justified as beyond poor performances, Rashford has let us down with a lack of effort far too many times now.
There is research emerging showing a detrimental impact on children's mental health from social media use and it doesn't take much of a leap to think it is the same for adults; especially those who are exposed to hundreds of thousands of anonymous opinions about themselves 24/7.

All fans want is for players to show that they care. Rashford body language screams I fcking don't care about the club, the teammates, the manager and the fans. So in theory he could be a man and take the abuse coming his way take it on the chin and man up roll his sleeves up and put the work in. But he is just not that into it. We need people who are. Sell him the sooner the better.I don't think it's fair to compare modern day players to players that played before the social media era. They would get abused at games. It might be that he knows playing a victim will get him some credit from the fans and mask his shit performances. It does seem to work tbh. He has a strong PR team as well that spins simple "performance criticism" as a personal attack. This guy is ridiculously sensitive.
