What’s with his new thing of standing still with the ball this season, lost confidence or acceleration or both? Cant believe he passed to Hojlund instead of just having a go as well second half.

Somehow he always manages to pass when he should shoot, and shoot when he should pass.

His decision making really is woeful... I really really hope somebody sits him down and has a talk, it is a shame that such a talented player looks so limited as he does time and time again.

He only plays for himself. He gets frustrated when he doesn’t score and adds nothing to our teamplay.

He needs dropped but unfortunately we have no real option to take his place. His attitude is just awful.

Garnacho, Martial, Sancho, Mount, Pellistri could all take his place on the wing and do a better job given his current form.

Bad form and effort. Needs to be dropped occasionally, just to be made an example of and reminded that's he's not untouchable because he had a purple patch last season and he's the local lad from Manchester with perfect PR. But we're in such an injury crisis right now at almost every position that overall bad form of the team, and Rashford himself is more understandable(plus Antony and Sancho problems...).

I do usual defend him but that moment in the first half was terrible. The Burnley right back receives the ball and Rashford sprints after him to catch up from the middle of the pitch. The moment Rashford reached his own box he just slammed the breaks (i thought he picked up an injury because he just stopped running that abrupt) and the Burnley right back kept running and had a good cross which forced Onana to make a decent save.

Not a good game. Again...

Yes that is weird. Ideally Rashford receives the ball infront of him with space to run into. That are his strenghts. Passing the ball into his feet and expecting him to do something isnt his main strenght. He just stands there, does some foot and body movement and passes it sideways.

A much more comfortable position to drop him post contract, now it's up to Garnacho to seize the moment.

Again, this is exactly why some of us were hesitant that giving him that new contract was a good idea. Now he's untouchable. He'll play every game, and he's just not good/consistent enough for that.

I think we all think/hope Garnacho is going to be world class in 2-3 years time, so would it be the worst thing in the world to cash in on him at the end of the season and move on if he's going to have unpredictable effort levels going forwards?

He's fully back to his 21/22 form. I don't know if it's a lack of confidence or what exactly. He seems one of those undropable players, doesn't even get subbed when he's rubbish.

He did it an awful lot in the Solskjaer/Rangnick season.

When the other team has the ball, we play with 10 men cause of this guy. No interest in pressing his man.

Don't know what's up with him. He keeps getting the ball in dangerous positions, then stopping dead, waiting for the opposition to get back in numbers, and slowly rolling it backwards. He's scared to run with the ball, he's stopped trying.

It's weird. Dunno if he is sulking over Sancho. Odd behaviour.

Although he looks like he's not enjoying life at the moment, he's still really good.

He didn't press with purpose I'll give you that, but he was still defensively there.

Did a great job of finding Bruno in the first half.
A great headed ball down to Hojlund that could have been a goal.
Also had that chance from a Hanibal pass that could have been a goal.

We didn't play well all together, but he wasn't the catastrophe. You lot are spouting shit.

Indeed hes more interested in blocking the passing lane to CM likes hes been asked to

Not sure if he's just poor at decision making or just dumb. He severely lacks footballing intelligence.

There's a huge lack of confidence at the moment coming into his crap decision making. Trying to pass to Hojlund when there was a great shooting chance and the pass wasn't really there. 1 v 1 on the break where there was no real decision and it was made for him, no conviction at all. It's etched across his face when he messes up as well. He looks strained and sheepish.

He could help himself by busting a gut out there though. Not really seeing that which was a problem with him in his last bout of crap form. You only get away with that when you're the attacking saviour.

His confidence is shot, and so his decision making is in the toilet.

Unfortunately a huge part of our game recently has been about isolating him with opposition defenders, especially the centre back, and he's been unable to beat them for the most part.

A couple of goals will hopefully turn things around for him, it was similar last season until his brace against Arsenal, after which he was reborn.

Poor tonight. It seems a bit of a trend with him where he has a great season and then follows it up with a average/shite one. Still early doors so I’m not saying that’ll be the case this season but he’s certainly nowhere the levels he showed a few months ago. As always with Rashford it’s a consistency issue, when he’s at his best he’s absolutely electric but it’s getting that out of him week in week out, season after season.
