He's just awful. There's no two ways about it. It's so frustrating to see him play and it's absolutely baffling he stayed on for 80 min. Should have been subbed around 60 min mark. Hope he gets dropped for a long time now.

Apart from his assist, I felt he was pretty poor today. First half, he did threaten in behind a few times but second half, we either stopped trying to play it in behind or the runs weren't being made.

His brain looks utterly scrambled almost every time you watch him. The length of time since he played well consistently would definitely leave me worried that either a rot has set in or whatever potential he was working from has been squandered. Either way, he looks to me like a guy who could do with a new challenge, odd as that might seem.

The second our attack breaks down he enters walk-mode if we're lucky he might jog. Terrible performance, looks completely uninterested.

We need to sell him asap whilst we can still get a decent fee for him, his decision making is still just as bad as it was when he broke into the first team.

Good in the first 30 mins but back to dreadful after that. Feck sake, gets difficult to stick up for him. Tbf there were a few players just as bad, Bruno was equally bad tbh and Ronaldo just looked like a 40 year old. Still, ffs balls into noone, just constant poor decision making from about 30 mins on, needs competition for places, the situation with Greenwood has fecked us especially as we loaned Martial.

Same as every week:

Crosses don't beat the first man.
Looks uninterested at times

Needs a new challenge

The lack of intelligence Rashford shows for someone that's been around first team football for ages is astonishing

he is so terrible, this is not a dip in form, he is midtable forward at best, and he isn't even showing that.

we are stuck with him

For who? Thats the problem. Elanga is the only option. He is another average footballer who is only in the squad to save the owners from spending.

25 years old, won a few cups in his career and he struts about the pitch like he’s won multiple ballon dors and trophies with no energy and workrate. Elanga and Lingard might not have quality but one of them needs to be starting ahead of him now because at least they’ll put a shift in. I understand old timers like Cavani and Ronaldo unable to press but I’m not sure what Rashfords excuse is.

Wasn't horrible in the beginning. Gradually became worse though. He needs some bench time.

He's that guy at five a side you roll your eyes at. Always looks to shoot even when it's never on.

What a poor player he is these days. Terrible decision making, weak efforts on goal and shocking workrate. Cop yourself on, or feck off with the rest of the trash!

He's vastly overrated. No better than the other run if the mill wingers that play for the mid/low table sides and it's time we stopped pretending any different.

Horrible for the last two seasons, but hey! He has plenty followers on instagram and twitter, so he is all good :)

I'm sure someone will be in here blaming it on him playing on the right, but his decision making is awful and his execution of passes, crosses and shots looks half assed wherever he plays.

Add in his selfishness, lack of pressing and work rate, and he becomes a massive liability.

I was actually stunned when he provided the square ball for Sancho instead of shooting himself.

The most frustrating player at the club.

Why does he think he's some elite dribbler? He isn't! He loses the ball almost every time he tries something fancy.

Back to the bench Marcus, good to see his workrate returning but his lack of awareness in the final 3rd is unreal, yes he got an assist but several other moves came to nothing because he plays with his head down.

Need to keep him on the right if he starts more games. He can use his movement and pace to get in behind defenders and cross. That led to our goal and was his only bit of positive play during the game.

On the left he tries to do half a dozen things at once and it usually breaks down.

Needs to play for burnley. There I fixed it

His work rate seemed surprisingly decent in the first half but it had completely evaporated in the second one. A shame.

We’ve shot ourselves in the foot massively because both him and Ronaldo will have to play near enough every game irrespective of form, because we just don’t have any other players in the side

Is this his level now? Can't blame injures, fitness and even bad-form doesn't last this long.

Maybe a bit like Dele Alli, just doesn't live up to expectations.

I am starting to hate him now because having a bad game is acceptable but he is not bothered. Doing the same mistake over and over again for how many seasons now?

Would have preferred to loan him out and keep Amad.

Hes been this poor for over a year now but used the 'carrying an injury' as an excuse.

A couple years ago people were comparing him to Mbappé and were offended when that was ridiculed.

Hope for him to pick up some form but I'm not believing in it anymore.

Can't pass to save his life.

I'd play him instead of ronaldo upfront, surely he can't be lazier ?

He needs to go. If Spurs can jettison Alli, there is no reason we can't do the same with Rashford (of course we won't, but still.)

Where is that Rooney guy that kept vomiting stats? Please tell me how good Rashford is because he got an assist today.
