feck off with your insults. And read my posts properly.
No, youre bitching because you seem to want United to buy a player cash upfront, rather than a structured deal.

That's Fecking muppetry of the highest order. Everyone structures deals. Far better for taxes.
What a thing to moan about!

My question though is regarding the whole Nani business..is he joining them on loan for the season, with us paying his wages? or was he involved as part of an exchange, and we are just paying his first years wages? Sorry if i missed it somewhere, didn't see that anywhere when i was reading through.

One year loan with United paying 100% of his wages. Thanks Woody, Sporting fans love you mate :)

As long as he can pass the ball forward to one of his team mates he's an improvement on Smalling and Jones.

I don't speak portuguese but it seems that part of the fee, 9m euros, is going to some other project they have.
What so they're announcing they're only planning on using a portion of the actual fee on said project, just plucking €9m out of nowhere? Google translate uses the word project but it'll just mean to rebuild the team/replace him.

I agree that English players are overpriced but this is a bad example imo.
Okay mate I guess I can sort of agree with you on that, but Phil can't even touch the English starting 11 whilst Rojo was in the Argentina team throughout the WC up until the finals and he cost less than Jones did after making 30odd appearances for Blackburn o.o

Excited to see Rojo in action for us, especially seeing how excited he is to be here.

It's a sweetener for Sporting due to the sell on clauses in the players contract.

Edit: It's a year loan. We pay wages it seems.

Well I didnt fecking realise that did I? I thought we couldnt cough up the 20m and were paying in instalments. Now feck off and leave me alone.

Im delighted with this deal. Specially with Nani. Cmon guys, you owed us after you got Ronaldo for peanuts :p
I'd be delighted too, especially if you have a ready replacement for Rojo. Are all Sporting fans happy about the prospect of Nani?

I've always liked him, so a little sad to see him go like this, but it is about time if none of our managers have the patience for him.

Not that it's in doubt but I've just gone on his twitter page. He's favorited a load of tweets related to Man Utd.

Our messageboard mood is ecstatic. Who wouldn´t be happy to have a player like Nani? He was class for us, i hope he can replicate that. We already have french u20 world champion from Lyon Naby Sarr to replace Rojo. We bought him for 1 million from Lyon. We also got highly rated dubed "new Ricardo Carvalho" Paulo Oliveira from Vitória Guimarães. But Rojo will be missed of course. Was one of our main players last year. Won´t be easy to replace an argentinian international.

It's a great deal for Sporting. Despite what many on here think Nani is a cracking player. He'll be fantastic for you

You basically get him playing for free too, can't believe we're paying all his wages.

It is just a year long loan deal with us paying all of his wages, with the hope that he puts in good performances so we can actually get good money for him next summer.

Thanks for the info...seems like Sporting aren't making out too badly on this then.

Just thinking more about this, if we're paying all of nani's wages then what's the point in letting him go at all? If we're paying him wouldn't we keep him in reserve in case of injuries?

Sporting probably wouldn't have let Rojo go if we didn't give them Nani, our need was greater and they used that.

The suits probably also figured that if we didn't find a buyer for Nani, and upped our offer for Rojo, it'd end up more expensive. They probably figured this was the cheapest way to get a quick deal done, rather than hope someone would come in for Nani before September.

Nani is a non entity as a footballer these days is he even classed as anything other than an object?
