He was really good today, and didn't throw in a stupid tackle at any point. Got to be happy with that

He's brilliant nowadays. Just goes to show what playing players in the right position and playing them regularly can do for them.

Well done Marcos.

Thought the best thing about him was his lack of response to Rondon losing his shit and slapping people.

Did he show a level like this in Portugal? I am shocked tbf, he looks like a £40m CB.

Of course, that's why i rated him before he moved to England. I had some skepticism because United and the Premier League are a whole new level compared to Sporting and our League.

Tbf my assessment was decent. I warned he wasn't a Lb, i also told you guys that he was prone to concentration lapses/ kamikaze tackles and that he needed a strong disciplinarian manager to sort him out. His best season was under Leonardo Jardim (now at Mónaco), who controlled him with an iron fist (with some exceptions because of his argie hot blood). If an extremely competent manager defensive wise like Jardim rated him at Sporting with comments like it's Rojo plus ten, then it was good enough for me.

Beware of his outbursts though, like i said he can look like a world beater for 5 or 6 games and then lose his credit with stupid errors or sending offs. Mourinho doing a wonderful job with him so far.

Credit to Jones as well. Didn't rate him in the past but he has been solid. United have a very competent center back partnership atm. I hope Kevin, this fórum football genius and scout is watching Rojo closely. Him and Leroy the red who was also a fan

Mental turnaround, I've never seen anything like it. Another fantastic display from him.

He's a beast, he rattled Rondon.
So glad for him, Mourinho is doing wonders for him. If someone told me at the beginning of the season him and Jones will be our CB pair I'd laugh.

Marcos Rojo he's a red
He's a red, he's a red
Marcos Rojo he's a red
His toast's roasted

He got booked for being slapped

has been fantastic again. 2 two-footed challenges aside, since coming in as CB hes made himself undroppable. Good understanding with Jones too. His distribution at times is suspect, but feck it, its nice to have a defender who can actually defend.

Ha! Take that you Rojo haters! Rock solid performance again today. Nothing seems to get past him these days.

It's laughable he got yellow a card for being slapped today and same punishment for a two footed tackle in midweek.

Played very well though, there is so much talk about a new CB in January but if the four we have actually stay fit and play to their potential it's not really an issue. Huge turnaround for him and jones though, they looked certain to be gone in the summer but giving mourinho someone to think about so hope they keep it up.

Getting back into that form that made him Argentina's most consistent player at the World Cup.

He's always been good in CB, but he's very poor at left back. He formed a good partnershop with Smalling under LVG until that game away to Man City where we lunged into a pointless tackle & got himself injured, then he lost his place. Still, I'm pleasantly surprised to see how well he has done so far.

His best game for us so far IMO. Love how he didn't lose his shiit when Rondon slapped him. He had few pretty accurate long passes that found their mark.

Rondon is possibly the most physical striker in the league, cant remember other even outside of the league, and he handled him well
