I dont know but I prefer Kroos than Verratti. of course if there is a chance to get Verratti, it will be awesome.

as Kroos fan, I dont agree because when I watched RM games, I think Kross is strong player and can be physical, even dirty if needed, he is sly and intelligent player. just the problem for me, if played as DMF, he is not good enough and right now we need a player that can replace Carrick role.

He's too soft to play CDM.

Very unlikely that PSG would sell him. If they do, however, none of the Italian teams has the financial clout to get the deal done.

The two Manchester teams, Madrid and maybe Chelsea are the only ones that could table a bid large enough for PSG to consider.

Juve spent like 90 mil EURO for Higuain, and Verratti is huge fan. If they sell Dybala for high fee then they can pretty much finance Verratti deal. The problem is as many have said, PSG unlikely to sell.

That was their Pogba money. Do you think they'd have spent that much Higuain if Pogba stayed?

You could probably add Bayern to that list, but they don't seem the type to make world record bids for established stars, especially if they aren't German.

edit - Missed the Dybala part, my bad. Yeah, selling Dybala is an option. If it end up being a bidding war, Juve still wont be able to match the salary the others could offer. Yes, the player's affinity might be a factor. But money still talks.

I cannot believe he would be on the move and we would be onlookers. Confident he isn't moving though.

Just go mad with our transfer budget next season and sign Veratti and Sanchez

Is not. Doesn't have the defensive brain to play DM. Would need either a pure DM or at least a player with great defensive brain and attitude next to him

Also verratti being a juve fan is a myth created by juve fans. Verratti is a huge fan of pescara. He doesn't really care for juve, and he certainly doesn't dream to play for them. If he did, he'd have held out for them instead of jumping at psg's offer(and the fact he took that offer over his dream -playing in serie A with pescara- shows where his priorities are. He won't leave psg anytime soon, but when he does, he'll go to the club that makes him the best offer)

He was very much influenced by Zlatan. He looked upto him and was very close. I think with zlatan leaving, PSG performing badly and him maybe wanting to test himself against better players he might want to leave.
If he is willing to leave we need to be on his case, Send zlatan to talk to him like pogba and he will be ours. Come on woody sign him up!

Zlatan really could turn his head. They are very close, Ibra even went to visit Verratti's hometown one summer. Zlatan+pogba-like wage offer and he might push for a move

Imagine mourinho signs verratti and weigl in the summer, than pays a plane to fly a F*CK YOU PEP! banner over the etihad for the whole season

If he's available, which I'd be shocked if he was(considering that he just signed a new contract last summer), we and every other big club would be in for him no doubt.

No chance he's going to Inter.

I read that he'd be up for leaving if they fail to win the UCL this season

I could see why he'd want to leave.
I think he's gone as far as he can with PSG. I just don't think they will attract enough to win the CL and he can't really win anything else with PSG.

For his own career and ambition he should leave really.
PSG wanting to sell is another story, but if he wanted to leave, there is never really any benefit to keeping an unhappy player

Have PSG ever kept a player against his will?

The whole thing with Verratti being 'untransferable' was founded on the player himself not wanting to leave, and under those circumstances, no amount of money could have prised him away, but if the player wants out, are PSG club that would make him stay?

I think Verratti will move in 2018.

He will be 25 years old in 2018 :)

I heard in a recent broadcast that he may sign yet another extension, that would mean Marco in Paris for much longer

This is a player I can definitely guarantee that 98% of the Caf have barely seen any of him but 98% think he will solve all our problems.

Without the guys he appreciates or did appreciate in Paris for many reasons (Lavezzi,Ancelotti, Motta leaving next summer, Zlatan, Sirigu..), there would be no emotional reason to stay.

There are 2 options:

- In the past, he said 'I want to win the Champions League before leaving PSG'
- PSG doesn't win it and he will say 'In 6-7 years, we failed to win it. I no longer trust in our ability to win it'

So, if you want Verratti in Manchester, you have to pray for a victory of PSG against Barcelona in the next QF of the Champions League.

If you're talking about watching Ligue 1, you're probably right, albeit with a bit of hyperbole.

But where Verratti is concerned, I'd say the majority of the Caf watches the UCL, especially the knockout stages regularly, with some international matches/tournaments as well. And he's consistently shone for them at the highest level. Probably my favorite CM in the world at the moment, along with Modric, but due to his age, shades it for me.

Would be tough to get him if he's leaving Paris. Can bet your house that just about every one of Europe's elite, who can afford him, will be in for him.

Watching Verratti in this first half against Barca makes me think that this guy should be our number one target above everyone else. I'd quite happily settle for him over Griezman if it come to the crunch and we could only afford one of them. What a player this little guy is.

Has been my favourite player for a while now. No chance we get him from PSG, though. Even if PSG were willing to sell and Verratti was willing to leave, it would be a transfer somewhere in the region of £140m. Not sure even we can afford that for a CM.

The sort of unrealistic target Mourinho said he wouldn't chase, sadly.
