Money. Not sure why they'd loan him to us anyway?

So in a few weeks time we would have 3 first team left backs, Dalot who can do a decent enough job there, and a youth team left back. It’s pretty much one of our best stocked positions.
Have you seen his hair, it's huge.Isnt he short like a midget? Will defo help defending corners
I very much hope it is. Don't think would be able to stomach that sight. Is this a joke
Being fit to return is different from being match fit and maybe they don’t want to stunt Fernandez’s development plan by keeping him on the bench when Ten Hag doesn’t trust him enough. So in 4-5 weeks when both Shaw and Malacia are fit we’re left with 3 left backs?
Theres an international break coming up the need for a lb is ridiculous just use Dalot/Fernandez

Ten Hag said pre Forest that Malacia was a few weeks away from being considered. Two weeks of that is an international break. Truth is only those inside the club actually know the prognosis. If we really are looking at November for both then maybe it’s best to get a loan, although we should have just kept Williams till January in that case. The last we heard United are hoping Shaw will be back around November and I haven't seen any date mentioned for Malacia's return. There's no guarantee it will be "in a few weeks" rather than "in a few months".
That's quite a while to be depending on Dalot (who many would argue isn't good enough even in his natural position, let alone LB), Fernandez (who might well be absolutely nowhere near good enough) and AWB (who even if he keeps up his relatively good form will now have to play pretty much every game) as fullbacks if you can fairly easily cover yourself with a loan deal instead.

Why? Cucurella is far better than Williams? He’s also currently far better than a young player who needs to be playing regularly to develop and had Robbie Brady ahead of him at times last season.Ten Hag said pre Forest that Malacia was a few weeks away from being considered. We know that ETH has got his fullbacks to come inside now, more often than not. So, what's Cucurella like centrally ?
Not sure about him inverting into midfield, but he was used as a LCB in a back three at both Brighton and Chelsea at times.
This is a loan right? Right??
Because Dalot would do a better job.Why are people getting wound up over a loan
If we "just play Dalot" it means AWB and him will basically have to play every game until Shaw is back, which could be a couple of months. An injury to either (more likely if they're playing every game) of them will leave us very short of options.Because Dalot would do a better job.
Yeah, so is this happening? Haven't followedMaybe it depends how he does,if we see the Chelsea one he's going back, however IF Erik can find the Brighton version then maybe there's a consideration to be made
I remember watching some Chelsea games early last season and wondering what his position was. Some games he seemed to range all over the pitch. It was like watching Januzaj doing his headless chicken bit. Great work rate but to questionable use.We know that ETH has got his fullbacks to come inside now, more often than not. Latest report I saw from The Athletic was that United are concerned Shaw could be out for three months. We don't know when Malacia will be back. And when they are back, there's no guarantee we won't have to ease them back after long lay-offs, or that they won't need time to build up match fitness again. So you can stretch your 4-5 week timeframe out by quite a bit.
I hope this link is a joke.
