Washed up = Golden Boot
Wenger says RVN is washed up = Golden Boot!

Are you taking the piss, the whole point of my post was that I never said I had not seen the guy play- let me make it nice and easy for you- I have seen this guy play (not as much as you granted), I told you we get Bundesliga coverage here. Please read my posts clearly before responding, you are the only one who says I have never seen the washed up one play- what the feck would you know what I have and have not seen. Maybe the late hours are affecting your sight or maybe your glasses are steaming up (I know you must wear glasses- all nerds do) due to the amount of shite you are talking.
I don't mind this back and forth stuff (tongue n cheek on my behalf) but you are really tying yourself in knots here, relax and think before responding. Also in response to your why am I posting so much for and yet calling you sad for your vigil like presence at your computer, well I hardly ever use this site but I am having fun tonight at your expense hence the volume. Also I notice you and your croonies can't enter into a debate with someone who disagrees with you, eg you have had a couple of similiar like confrontations in recent weeks with other posters, but football is a game of opinions and if everybody had the same one it would be boring. But seriously try and get out more and release some of you obvious built in anger. I shall be away for around a month or so on work, just in case you are wondering why I don't persist with my mocking of you.

er....excuse me? when did i ask about Cantona's ability? As if would need YOU of all people to educate me about Le Eric. and I havent laughed at anything on this thread. mistaken identity you prat.
I'm sorry devilish, i have to say this, you try very hard but you dont know very much about football do you.
We all know Yorke and Sheringham were both link men, why do you think I mentioned them in my post? And no...I was not confused into thinking Yorke was actually a "main striker". and Sheringham is not "deep down" a link man because he is a link man full stop.
My point is, they are both link men who do not do Cantona-esque flicks or Ronaldinho-esque dribbles or leg overs. Neither of them did skills or tricks or whatever it is you imagine a link man has to be.
Who knows maybe SAF really is unsatisfied with Scholes as link man. I am however delighted with Scholes.
Fergie going to sign Kewell/Duff/Ronaldinho doesnt mean he is looking for a link man, he is looking for a world class attacker who can play on the flanks OR down the middle to strengthen our squad for next season and for the future.
and to those people who are saying "we dont need back up for Ruud cos we have Ole and Giggs and Forlan and Scholes etc". Do you guys seriously think we pose a threat with those 4 players leading the line?
No Ruud = 4-4-2 = predictable = easy to stop = we dont win. It also equals lack of strength and presence up front, both in the air and on ground. It means any team worth its salt can beat us, you know why?
because when we send the ball up to attack, the attackers are eliminated from the game and the ball comes right back. You have seen it happen when we had Cole/Yorke and neither of them was leading the line.
the key to winning games is to score. if we played Liverpool without Ruud, we would never even come close to scoring. Anyone thinking we can throw Ole on alongside Scholes/Giggs/Ronaldinho and actually pose a threat hasnt been paying attention and doesnt understand the way football works.
what i'd give for a mark hughes type player.

Hey Hey, you took me wrong. I wasn’t making any lectures on this or that player. I was only commenting on our former players characteristics.
I agree in 90% of your post and yet I cant agree with you on these points
a) Yorke wasn’t a Cantona’s type of link man. Maybe he didn’t had the reputation but he surely had the technique and the creativity to be mentioned amongst the world greatest. Yorke’s first season at OT was simply magical and he would have made it amongst the legends if only he didn’t threw his career out of the window
b) OGS could not make it as vice RVN. Well if so than super sub’s career at OT would have been a failure. The Norwegian international is one of the deadliest strikers on earth has the experience to withstand the hottest games and is loyal enough to sit on the bench. He’s been vice Cole for years and would be a great vice RVN.
C) we need a Hughes type of striker. While I would never close the doors for a player who has only a fragment of Sparky’s strength, brains and commitment, I don’t think that its our main priority especially when we have Ruud’s power at our side. What we need is someone creative, who would link well between the midfield and the attack

Of the highest order. Want us to sign Del Piero and have him warming the bench. Or playing as a "link-man" because Scholes isn't good enough.
In reply to someone moaning about Fergie, Weaste Devil says:
Prick!
feck off and support somebody else!

YOU reply:
No why don't good doers like yourself feck off, supporters like you are fecking crap, you'll sit back after todays performance and say nothing. Real supporters like us get upset and vent our frustration while assholes like you with no knowledge football say nothing

other quotes include
Well do you not not think that SAF has taken the club as far as he can, and that a new manager with new ideas would be a welcome acquisition.

Fergie needs to go he has taken the club as far as he can go and it needs a new man with fresh ideas, that is not to say we are not grateful for the success he has given us, but everything comes to an end

Now, explain youreself, i hope you feel ashamed that you even incinuated these things, you sir are a total disgrace and you don;t know how lucky you are that you support this club, and frankly you dont deserve it.
Politely, in future, shut the feck up.
Good day.

FIRST OF ALL IT SHOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO ASSESS OUR WEAK AREAS DURING THE PAST SEASON.
GOALKEEPER : TOO MANY SILLY MISTAKES FROM FAB AND DEFINITELY HAS IN A CERTAIN WAY BEEN RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR DEFEAT AGAINST REAL.
IDEAL BUY : RUSTU/COUPET/ROBINSON
DEFENDERS : AGAIN THOUGH WE FINISHED THE SEASON WITH THE BEST DEFENCE AT TIMES OUR DEFENDING HAS BEEN SLOPPY. NEED AN EXPERIENCED DEFENDER AND ONE/TWO TO ADD TO THE SQUAD.
IDEAL BUY : GALLAS / VAN BUYTEN / MEXES /HOFLAND / SOUTHGATE /
MIDFIELD : THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH UNITED AND MOST ENGLISH CLUBS IS THE LACK OF TECHNICAL & CREATIVE MIDFIELD PLAYERS.THIS HAS BEEN PARTICULARLY EXPOSED DURING THE REAL GAME.VERON WAS SUPPOSED TO FILL IN THIS ROLE BUT MY GOODNESS HE HAS FALLEN FAR BELOW EXPECTATIONS.
IDEAL BUYS : KEWELL / NEDVED / DUFF / EMRE / OKOCHA
STRIKERS : WHAT HAPPENS IF RVN IS OUT ? NO NE TO SCORE.
DEFINITELY RONALDINHO CANNOT BE THE ANSWER. HE IS NOT A REGULAR GOAL SCORER AND WHAT WE REALLY NEED IS SOMEONE TO PROVIDE COVER FOR RUUD.BESIDES I DOUBT HIS PHYSICAL PRESENCE IN THE PREMIERSHIP AND COULD BE ANOTHER VERON. ALL BIG TEAMS HAVE AT LEAST 2 STRIKERS( GOALSCORERS).WE SHOULD ALSO SELL FORLAN AS HE IS NOT FITTO BE A UTD PLAYER THOUGH HE HAS SCORED SOME IMPORTANT GOALS.MY OPINION IS THAT WE SHOULD BUY 2 STRIKERS AS OLE IS GETTING OLD.
IDEAL BUYS CHOOSE 1 - MACKAAY , KLUIVERT , SHEVENCHEKO
AND BUY VIDUKA AS HE HOLDS THE BALL PRETTY WELL AND IF HE CAN SCORE 19 GOALS WITH LEEDS I WHAT ABOUT WITH UTD.

i agree with you till you mentioned Ronaldinho. Ronaldinho is one of the most creative players in the world. He can play as a forward, as an attacking midfielder and as a left winger. So yes he would adds spice to our creative side
