Looks quicker every game. Guess Ten Hag was right when he said it would take him a few months to be up to speed.

Thought he was one of our best players today. Hes pretty beastly defensively. I actually think him and Bruno works agaisnt the vast majority of teams we play. Perhaps not the biggest teams.
Stood tall tonight. Shoulda had Casemiro alongside him and Bruno ahead and we could have really pushed the advantage in midfield.

Played well again tonight , did not hit the ground running with us but steadily getting there and could prove to be a very important player for us yet.

Back in the Summer I linked an article on the Transfer Forum which ran through his upbringing and how hungry and determined he was from a very early age. Really impressive stuff, the sort that is a sure sign he will never let you down unless you are asking for something completely beyond him.

I'd say it was his best game in United shirt given the opponent. Like the way he carried the ball. Also good that he was player for Amorim at Sporting so hopefully he'll get the best out of him.

Dude is a beast. Probably the wrong decision to not put Casemiro in there too but I said pre game Ugarte and Mount is probably our most balanced midfield. It seems the manager thinks Mount is better further forward pressing and that Bruno can make play. If that’s the case then we need a more physical playmaker and we will will be fine. Ugarte is an elite midfielder.
Him and De Ligt were the standouts tonight. Very good at what he does. Isn't too much wrong with us at all defensively.
I love him. I hope we will get the midfield balance right around him. If he improves his long balls, he will be deadly.
Missed the game as it was on very late for me, I was interested to see what his performance thread be like after a big game and I am happy to see posters here saying he did very well, we need good players in the middle of the park.

This formation suits him down to the ground. The middle centre back behind him means he can really be aggressive, pushing out on the opposition, without worrying about the space he leaves behind. And the number of players around him means he has more simple passing options open to him. Everyone loves a tackler. I think fans are going to enjoy his play this season.
He was really good. He has adjusted to the league and has put in some good performances off-late. He needs a better partner than Bruno or Casemiro.

No idea what they were watching but he was very good against Arsenal, like others have said though he needs another similar player to help as well.
