Manchester United vs. Stoke City

The booing could have been in response to the Van Persie stuff that was still going on or the fact that the ref blew the whistle just as Nani was about to cross it in .

The booing picked up a bit again after RvP had gone down the tunnel and when Moyes was near the tunnel. I don't think it was directed at the incident going on with RvP and the stoke players.

This. When was the last time you heard United get booed at half time? That shit doesn't happen at United.

I can send you something quite decent but ask yourself if you really want it.

Yes please.

Every one I've come across keeps doing the shitty freeze every 30 seconds thing, annoying as hell. Always typically does it on every chance we have too

One positive we can take form that half is that, at last, everyone can agree that Tom Cleverley is THE single most pointless human being in the history of time. The kid has no heart and no balls and no place in the team. He's afraid of the opposition and afraid of the ball and we genuinely are playing with a man down.

Get him off to feck and don't fecking play him again.

This is coming from somebody who hates criticizing players and usually backs them to the hilt but one thing I won't stand for is a player not trying. I'd rather have Nani's shit passing and shite shots all day long, at least he's trying something and isn't afraid to try and make something happen.

Tom Cleverley is the most ineffective player in our squad.

You would rather play Fellaini?

Defending just rank rotten, Evra has not got a clue what to do and is playing like he is concussed. Moyes has Kagawa tucking in and Evra pushing on like Baines did but this is not Everton and Pat has a different skill set from Baines so its ineffective anyhow. Jones and Evans have been shaky plus would prefer to play Rafael than Smalling as we are Man United and at home vs Stoke playing Smalling because he offers height shows where we are at this moment in time.

As an Austrian I have to say it's a tad funny seeing Arnautovic giving Smalling a tough time.

As a United fan this half has been a bit wank. We haven't been that bad in possession I thought but we lack cutting edge and our defence looks woeful today.

The funny thing is how Smalling has been picked for his height, yet they've outplayed us the conventional way.

They booed the ref as he was on his way. Stop having a go at our fans. It's clear to see they target the ref.

He's also changed the whole backroom staff and replaced them with Phil Neville, Steve Round, and Nicky Butt. There was no need to change all of that except to put his "stamp" on the team. He's only made it more difficult on himself by doing it. If he had kept them, he could just come in and let everything keep going as normal in terms of training, preparation, etc. They knew what they were doing and had been doing it for years. Making so many changes in addition to replacing Fergie was dumb.

changing the backroom staff was stupid.

Most of those are those who have only known success under Sir Alex Ferguson though. Most of them don't remember the days of Ron Atkinson and his lean spells where an F.A Cup was worth its weight in gold. Nowadays, our fans are so spoilt that it is unreal. It is good to have a reality check and it will separate the real fans from those who just look for success.

I don't think you have to be spoilt to demand better from this set of players. The same set that won the league last year. It's getting well beyond unacceptable, especially at home.

 The feck is wrong with you?

Rooney, RvP and Kagawa don't look to be on the same wavelength, maybe bring Januzaj on for Shinji and Valencia on for Smalling to give us something on the overlap. In all we just look lackluster though, need to up the energy and tempo.

He's been awful, but almost everyone has been awful. He's just come back from injury, and was playing some good football before he got injured a few weeks back (deserves to be in the team over Fellaini).

I know we've been bad but no need to talk shit like this.

True. Fans who grow up following winning teams are a different breed.

you dont boo your team, you get behind them.
We've had a few bad home results this season, even against West Brom they got behind the team. Its just become a case that this is unacceptable.

Hell half of the interviews I've seen of Moyes he comes out and says the same thing and seems like hes not under any pressure... maybe he should start to feel the pressure

Impossible to tell what was going on around Moyes since the camera was zoomed in. It's quite possible the ref was close to the Stretty at that point as well. Like hp said, booing at HT doesn't happen at OT.

We're shit, I can't even be arsed to analyse why we're shit, we're just shit. We're controlling possession, we're even knocking it around quite nicely in spells, and yet every time Stoke go forward they look like scoring, exactly the same thing happened against West Brom, it's just shit. And everything seems so inevitable, before he hit that freekick I knew he was going to score, at half time against West Brom I knew they'd win, the last few minutes against Southampton I knew they'd equalise, it's all rather peculiar.

I think you're fecking paranoid, and you've been mostly wrong for 25 years. Now that we're shit you'll start thinking you're some kind of fortune teller.

So much for Kagawa, he's been atrocious this half.

Not worse than Nani and RVP. Nani has done feck all and keeps losing the ball, and RVP was completely invisible until he scored that goal. Kagawa and Rooney are at least moving around a lot, trying to play football.

Too many players having shockers. Nani and smalling have been downright embarrassing, and Evans and jones have been shite too. Cleverley having a shit game as well.
Rafael absolutely needs to come on. Januzaj for nani would be nice too but I think he can turn it around.

I seriously think we should put Fellaini in attack. It's not like we can string 5 passes together.

Yeah, let's put Fellaini in so he can be the scapegoat.

But seriously, couldn't be any worse.

Even if the back 4 is fecking up, the front 6 needs to do more.
Kagawa is not living up to the hype.
Nani is having one of those days.
And Cleverley has certainly been no better than the performances that Fellaini got killed for on here.

I'm not standing for any "Moyes Out!" shit here.
The players can't hide behind that. The game is there to be won if they perform like they can.

Neither Kagawa nor Nani have been atrocious I thought. Rvp is totally isolated up front though. I'm not sure he and Rooney really should play together these days. Anyway let's hope for a better second half. Cleverley and Carrick need to wake up and our defence needs a kick in the arse.
