Manchester United vs Real Betis (Thu 1st August, 03:00 UK time)

It’s fairly common at MLS stadiums. It’s very cool from a fan fun and convenience perspective but it does thin out the crowd in the seats.

It works for American football because the game is so slow. MLS maybe it’s just more casual.

This ref is a blind cnut, that's a clear penalty.

It's just to even out the earlier dive. Whatever, it's a friendly.

Bad defending again. Set pieces against us are a huge threat. Just can't seem to clear it out.

look good going forward, but relegation when it comes to defence

Will be interesting now. I think this Betis team (with some players not back in training I suppose) looks extremely lightweight in terms of physicality, but now we've thrown the kids on.

No complaints on the goal. All four of that back line would not play much or at all this season anyway.

Is Fish a common surname in UK or is it as funny for you guys as well?
Is funny to us, too. A few of the older members of the cafe may remember the old Viz comic about a football playing fish called ‘Billy the Fish’ (Billy is short for William, if you didn’t know already). For that reason alone, I hope he makes it.
