Manchester United vs Real Betis (Thu 1st August, 03:00 UK time)

It's the latter. This game is slower than any game in championship, and more disorganized than a weekend five-a-side. Some interesting moments from our players that are fun to watch, but overall this is shit game, come on
Jesus could you be any more negative? We're playing well, and it's not a shit game, for a pre season game anyway.

Some of AWB's touches this game is exactly why a lot are saying if the offer is there, take it and sell. He's so blase and loose with the ball at times.

I think a few have pointed out he's not ready from a defensive point of view, which, if I'm honest, I'd have to agree, but the lads 17 and so that's to be expected.
That member is either a shit stirrer, WUM or damn right lacks ability to read and comprehend. I won't give him a thought

Player rating fluctuating based on one piece of play in pre season

Yeah I've been noticing that too. Normally I'd overlook some of those touches but he could've created a few good situations but did something casual and it didn't work out.

It's all in your head, mate. Negative my arse, just calling it the way it is. I know it is preseason game, but it is very slow and very disorganized, so some of you getting excited and thinking we will win EPL now because of 3 goals we scored here is a bit funny

He's lost his legs but love when Eriksen is in the team. His understanding of the game is class.

Yep no physicality in the oppo midfield so he shines. He'd still be class in a slower league like Italy.

You are knowingly giving up minutes of your life to watch a pre-season friendly, you knew what you were signing up for, no need to be fussy, you clearly aren't that precious with your time.

No one said we're going to win the EPL now ffs, stop exaggerating. We're just saying we're playing well, the system seems alot better, and that with alot of non starters playing. You're just being unnecessarily negative.

It's frustrating as he's got a lot of good athletic attributes and is generally hard working but he has too many loose moments going forward and backwards.

Haha. True. But I have not missed a single United game in decades, doesn't mean I cannot make fun of how chaotic this game is :)

Nobody said that so don’t exaggerate. The most positive anyone has been has said ‘our press looks a bit better’. Hardly got carried away did they?

Betis are likely a week or two behind as La Liga starts later but that doesn’t take away from the positive play on our part. I remember people slating the Rosenborg performance despite the fitness disparity.

McTominator clearly the best player on the pitch again as usual. GOAT

He's actually looking pretty good in that #10 role when we play with two creators (a false 9 like Sancho and wide playmaker type like Amad). I think Zirkzee will suit the way we play.

Betis have been really crap and no intensity in the game and if it was against a PL defence I don't think Sancho / Amad will have as much time to play neat little 1-2s.

Not according to @NewGlory, we're shit apparently.
Don't be so sensitive, it's just a meaningless preseason game, with a team that we will hopefully never play in premiership

I wasn't least bit serious, this being a shit preseason game and all, but if you want to talk seriously - we are only better at pressing because there is like zero threat from them so we feel safe throwing bodies up front. Any half decent team would have pushed us back

Casemiro looks alot more trim compared to last season.

I know Casemiro got closed down there but there has been a clear trigger for runners in behind when Casemiro or Eriksen get the ball deep. You can see the runs from Amad and Rashford.
