Garnacho. Zidane, Amad goooooood.
Chong baaaaad.
Chong baaaaad.
When the whistle went at the end of the first half you could see Ronaldo taking off the sport tape on his wrist, he knew he was only playing 45 minutes.
He then left the stadium apparently
It’s incredible unprofessionalHe did, but big deal?
He did, but big deal?
Absolute nonsenseVDB is absolutely shite, I don’t think I’ve seen a more nothing player
Even Scot has a bit more, and he’s bang average at best
Obviously not then
You'd have to wonder who'd be stupid to pay the sort of money we would expect to get for him. I reckon we'll probably want £20m back for him and he's clearly not worth more than half that.
Yeah that’s true. However I think I’d go with zidane if he’s a better fit. Dunno if I want another player hiding from the ball as Garner did often today. He seems a better stylistic fit for us at the moment, comfortable receiving the ball in tight spots and popping it off to his team mates, just lacks the first team experience that Garner has from his loans.
He did, but big deal?
Ive generally thought Ronaldo could still work out for us but yeh if he left the stadium without special circumstances then it’s a big deal. It does nothing for the team if one player thinks he hasn’t even gotta hang around till the end of the game
Seems Dalot was with Ronaldo and alot of people outside the stadium for it to be during the game, sounds like horseshit
Not really he can’t link up play he can’t shoot he can’t tackle he can’t pass long he’s slow , change my mindAbsolute nonsense
Funny, I'm the opposite where I think a good loan for Laird would progress him way more than any backup role here would do for him. He could really excel somewhere on loan, build his fitness, and then join the squad next summer and compete with Dalot. Potential is there, but needs game time.Biggest takeaways from today for me are that Garnacho needs to be in the squad this season and Laird shouldn't be allowed on loan.
With AWB seemingly being on the way out, Laird seems capable of providing the attacking threat on the right we've lacked along with offering better defensive solidity than Dalot. He saved one or 2 goals on his own today with his good positioning and timing.
He was also developing a decent understanding with Sancho earlier on tour when they shared pitch time together.
Garnacho might be our best backup option at LW if Rashford is the designated first choice while Sancho is on the right. His tenacity would absolutely be a good asset to have off the bench and he can keep Rash on his toes the same way I expect Malacia to do for Shaw.
Today was the first game in a Man Utd shirt where he wasn't just a cone/average. He's never been bad, just there. At least he showed me something today. Yesterday it was more of the same re: the training cone.Oh stop with VDB moaning, ETH rates him much more than "know it all" Cafters on here.
No Shoretire just has been in and around the first team early. It's a testament to his early promise. So he's been involved for ages but isn't close yet to being ready. My bad, I thought he was around 22 already.
Is his dad still on the Caf?No Shoretire just has been in and around the first team early. It's a testament to his early promise. So he's been involved for ages but isn't close yet to being ready.
You really didn’t rate Laird? I though he had a great game. Really lively, always looking to get forward. The only real standout among the youngsters was Garnacho. Real talent. The rest are clearly not ready. Not even Laird and Garner. Each had a few good moments, but we will get wrecked in the league if we have to rely on them. Martinez and Eriksen were also class. VdB also had a better game than he usually does.
On the other hand, Chong was dreadful. Him and Telles need to be sold on short notice.
Didn't know he wasIs his dad still on the Caf?
Was a great feel good moment when he was first subbed on. Don't remember the username, thoughDidn't know he was
Nobody in this thread has made a mention of Tom Heaton's performance. I found him very good.
Everton finished 4 points above relegation. last time I checked they were still a pl teamThey missed relegation by 4 points. Hardly a La liga fixture there.

Think teenage Ronaldo but 'only' 80%How did Garnacho do? We really need a wide man and I'm hoping he can be that, but I've not seen enough of him to know if he's worth being given a run. No pint just playing him for ive minutes here and three minutes there.
read some history, I'm sure you'll be able to prove he started world war one. Ever thought he had permission to be with family? It’s incredible unprofessional
So 90% better than our other "forwards" then...Think teenage Ronaldo but 'only' 80%
