Damn, I don't usually talk about tattoos but I do wonder if Hansen-Aarøen has made a mistake in using up all the best prime real estate on his body before he's 18 years old. He'll at least have great reminders of his childhood for a long, long time!

That's exactly what I had in mind when writing that post. I'll forgive Ronaldo on that given he isn't match fit, is old, past it and doesn't have the legs to make surging runs on the turn. Not to mention these days he's known as a pure goalscorer, so I don't expect him to make plays from deep.
Garner on the other hand is a midfielder expected to carry the ball and make plays. The ball was returned to him like 5 times yet refused to take responsibility and do anything more with the ball hut make those few yards passes.
Zidane should be in the squad at this point, on the bench each game at all, same for Garnacho

Truth is the youngsters are used to playing nice quick interchanging football. ETH coming in will help them massively because most aren't the type that would have excelled under Ole ball.

Zidane, Laird, Garnacho and Amad have real talent and a good chance to make it here. The rest of our youngsters not so much.
All he needs is a steady run of games down the right. Special talent. He was killing players 3 years older than him in the reserves. He is clearly first team level. Just needs the minutes in his favoured position.

They did. You could tell they were all used to playing with each other. It was lovely to see.
All those who were banging on about us “selling the deadwood” as if by virtue of not having certain players we would improve. Well, we sold/released the deadwood, haven’t replaced them and these kids are currently our bench. We genuinely need about 5 further signings this summer, or we need to be patient with these kids. Or it’s going to be a really long season on here.

There were some pretty poor takes in here today, Laird, Garnacho, Zidane and Amad all impressed.
Kinda disappointing stretch of 3 matches to end the preseason. It's all good to control and have chances, but we need to put those feckers in the back of the net.
Yeah really disappointed with Hannibal. Because I really liked how he looked when he came on for us last season. Shoretire has also not been great. Zidane Iqbal is a real prospect.
Laird, Garnacho and Iqbal needs to be part of first team. AWB, Telles, Bailly, Chong hopefully can be sold.
Based on today, Amad, Garnacho, Zidane have a place in the squad, rest not shown much for me. Laird good offensively but very insecure in terms of the short passing out from defence which put us in trouble numerous times. Varane looks way off the pace and I really hope he doesn't start against Brighton but is eased into the season.
Clear to see that Zidane is the better player, although he is yet unproven outside of preseason and youth matches.
Be interesting to see if we keep him as backup or send him on loan.

More the intensity they were playing at. Kept a La Liga side camped in their half for quite some time at the end there. And Laird physically looked brilliant. Iqbal very impressive as was Amad.

I'm happy to see the back of Pogba and Lingard and instead have players like Garnacho and Zidane come in. We still need signings, sure, but releasing those players certainly wasn't a mistake
