Oh im in the same boat. I was just looking forward to a good game but this defeat doesnt really hurt me. I think we were due a loss and if our good run kept up i think mental fatigue and complacency might have set in.
I also dont care about the FA cup or EL so it would take a lot to hurt tonight. We just need to keep our foot down on the league.

I'd be tempted to give the likes of Bruno and Rashy a rest vs Watford, I'd love to win a trophy, but players like Bruno could really use a rest and while we are in contention for the league (don't think we will win it unfortunately) we need to focus on that

I've laughed as much as anybody at that clip of Jordan Henderson staring someone out as it looks so weird and funny, but a few hard man antics here and there are fine, particularly if you're sticking up for a teammate like Shaw was.

This match has just got away from us. I was happy to be in it for as long as we were, small-time though that sounds, but we've been second best and have much still to learn about managing big games.

Disappointing but not the end of the world.

Bit of a reality check to those who were getting a bit giddy with our league position.

However, I'm sure we'd all take a win v Burnley and going into that Liverpool game 3 points clear.

it's a semi final so going for it makes sense. FA Cup game is the time to rest starters with 2 PL games coming up.

Agreed par not feeling bothered, I feel like this was our chance to lay down a marker, but we were awful and city were very good. Tells me that we are pretenders who won’t be up there for long.
