Manchester United vs Liverpool (Sun 4th August, 00:30 UK time)

I think he’s been playing within himself, but he’s showing more and more every match. He seems to be wherever the action is, on either side of the pitch. Looks to be the best of our midfield lot this preseason imo.

Interesting player with his size, aggression and mobility, will get mins this season.

Or maybe not.

Lindelof is such a fecking pansy. Was in all the position to make a block but had his hands behind his back and didn't even bother to stick a leg out.

Every pass he makes is so that the other person takes the responsibility to progress.

Casemiro dribbled past again..

We're not getting top 6 with a DM who just gets bypassed like he isn't even there.

Rashford showing signs of quality, feeling good about him this season if this is anything to go by

We've got more talent on the pitch than they do and they're like a week behind in fitness.

We're playing 'well' but not really. Most of our chances are breaks in play or in transition not through good passing or positioning.

Better than last season though as there's some semblance of a structure off the ball.
None of our back four, our best MFer/captain, Gnashers or Hojlund. And two kids playing.

Don’t think it’s that different

Collyer plays way too safe for my liking. Need to see him do more with the ball.

You come across as having an extreme agenda.

Extreme? I've been fairly critical of him but nowhere near the vitriol you'd normally see on the caf.

Seems like you and another have an extreme fandom of AWB to not even accept a bit of criticism. It's not just me in this thread, it's literally a few posts from separate posters.

That's so poor from Collyer

What a stupid post.

That’s what we are ditching AWB. His tackling is world class but he can’t track a runner to save his life. Awful defending there from him.

Another year of being the easiest team to counter in top flight football. Should be fun viewing

Catalogue of errors there but I'm sure the AWB supporter squad will say he couldn't have done any better there at the back post.

Please just sell AWB already. He's just not good enough. I'd be fine with literally anything.

I'm not sure he has it in him. What do the posters who watch the academy say? He looks scared in possession and a bit sloppy. Lovely engine, great aggression, but I don't see anything else so far.
