    Ole hasn't covered himself in glory but we don't have the players. We are relying on players like Greenwood to come on and make the difference. We haven't got the on depth quality and it will be shown even more so if Martial is out.
     
    This is what happens when you have no creativity. VAR cant disguise the shortcomings in midfield.
     
    Unlucky but also terrible. We have 0 creativity in central areas with Pogba playing deeper. Not buying a nr 10/AM might cost us the season.

    More of the same as last year then. The moment we can't hit a team on the counter, we struggle to score. Then a few moments of poor defending and we gift them the game. Kind of expected when you lose strikers and midfielders, but don't bring anyone in.
     
    We were unbelievably poor. Shite poor if not worse. No creativity at all, no free kick delivery, no penalty conversion, nothing.

    Can't create and can't finish. Can't take a set piece to save a life. Pass it around for 90' to the CB's so we can have 75% possession.

    In reality so far, this isn't any different than LVG's United. I guess we press more. Yay.

    He has just been set up to fail, which he'd probably do anyway even with a top squad.

    This has nothing to do with Ole, we had more than enough chances to get a win or at least a draw. The players fecked it up.

    He was bloody tackled in Palace's half. You'll expect our team to recover the ball before it becomes a goal and for DDG to save a shot that was easier to save then to let it become a goal.
     
    James the only one who can hold his head high after that. The rest of the team were shite from front to back.

    When Lukaku got sold, we should have brought another forward. Shaw injured, Martial injured

    Pogba, McTommy and Maguire were all pretty decent. Dave, Rashford and Lindelöf cost us the game.
    Be nice to have had Gomes on the bench, he would have been a better fit for the Jesse substitution. Greenwood was pretty anonymous.
    3 points lost and hoping Martial isn’t too seriously injured.
     
    We give away goals way too cheaply, and struggle to even create simple chances. When we do create chances, our shooting is so woeful that we hardly trouble the opposition.

    This is a very poor performance. Yes, Palace defended very well and were very ballsy with the chances that they created. They deserve the win. But, we should have played a lot better and troubled them a lot more than we did.

    We are just not aggressive enough, or clever enough when we do have the ball. We can't wait until the next transfer window before we bring in a guy or two to change things. These are problems that have to be sorted out through coaching. Every single player that we have right now could be and should be playing better than they are, and they need to be coached to do better.
     
    Worst part of this is either one of Liverpool or Arsenal will be sticking it to us big time come 730pm tonight! :mad: So glad I'm on holiday this week. We haven't started the cup comps yet ffs!

    Yeah I thought he must have lost it right near the goal, given the reaction, then I saw giflord's vid. So many defenders doing feck all.
     
    Sloppy, bad keeping, again. Bad penalty again, bad build up again, no positives.

    Drop points at home to Crystal palace, it's like Moyes dropping point against West Brom and the rest.

    There is not enough leaders in there with experience, ok to blood the young ones, but in games like this some experienced old heads needed. Palace 2 on target 2 fecking goals. Bad bad day. DDG sorry needs to be dropped for not stopping that.

    Sorry I’m with you that we’re dogshite but how is this worse than Moyes? We beat Chelsea 4-0, that would’ve been like winning a cup final with Moyes.

    It is shite though. I just don’t have any confidence in the directors to make any wise footballing decisions. Absolute shambles

    His tackle initiated all the action that lead to James goal. Also he didn't cheaply lost the ball. He was tackled in Palace's half. The team had all the time in the world to recover the ball and that was a very easy save for DDG to make.

    Lingard was shit, Rashford was dreadful and yet you guys aim at Pogba. Why do you hate the few players we've got who actually know how to play football?

    I can't disagree with any of this.

    Not knee jerk in the slightest. We got the rub against Chelsea but you could see that they have experience in midfield.

    We're lacking so up front and midfield, it's a joke.

    Good 3 signings but it's obvious if one striker gets injured...we're fecked. If midfield doesn't function...we're fecked

    I'm not engaging in discussion with somebody who thinks he didnt cheaply lose possession. He does that almost every game.
