Manchester United vs. Crystal Palace

Why is it a crime to dislike a United player?

You can not like a United player. If people were pissed off at Rooney during the summer I can understand.

When Young tries hard every match and does well enough I don't get the constant hatred towards him.

Young has been awful, Valencia hesitant in key positions, rest all OK or per the expectations.
Definite penalty but red card was a harsh decision.

We're defensively rock solid as usual, and we have full control in midfield. I'd still like to see us create more chances though. I can't remember the last time we went 3 and a half games in a row creating this few chances, so that's definitely an area we need to improve.

Young has been one of our best players, btw. No need to take him off.

Seem it again. Red card was right decision but young was fouled outside the box.

Carrick and Anderson have been poor.

Carrick only made 26 passes out of 40.

Mate if it was on RVP they'd all say it was a red. The amount of shite we used to talk about Ronaldo going down easily to justify it and now Young does it people are debating whether it should be a straight red.

Young is a decent squad player who broke down this team. Still no-one says anything.

It's getting beyond a joke now.

The hating on Young is fecking embarrassing.

As a first half, that wasn't great. Started well but faded and lacked a bit of intensity. We've the two best strikers in the league feeding off scraps. Anyway, hoping for a better second half against ten men.

I thought the ref was gonna give Young a second yellow and send him off for a moment there. Looked like a pen on the replay and thus had to be a red. Nice pen from RvP.

Other than one lovely bit of play between Carrick and Rooney that led to an RvP volley chance, we have been sorely lacking in invention, it's just endless hit and hope crosses, no guile centrally.

Lets just ignore the good play to get into the position then yeah?

It was a nice bit of play. One of many from him. I just think it's a bit absurd to celebrate one of our players going down easily to get an opposition player sent off. This'll be one of the biggest games he'll ever play in his career and it's been taken away from him by a bad decision from the ref and a bit of "clever" play from Young. Not really something I'd celebrate about.

I'm not sure but I thought I saw another defender close to young. Like I said, could be wrong. Just saw it once.

Ah, I missed the replay there again. Was there another man getting back before him?

Our wingers are really mediocre aren't they, I dont know what happened to Valencia but he's lost any sort of attacking threat from his game.

You're supposed to be impartial, Warnock, not angry at the 'injustice'.

Unimpressive performance, but still. Thought Young was involved in a lot of our gameplay, I hate his diving though. His final ball was a bit shit as well, but at least he was more involved in our attacking game than Valencia. Not a good game overall. Palace are fecking shit.

I dislike Young myself (not personally, just as a United player, obviously), but you've got to be pragmatic about these things. That was a very well worked move by Young, pouncing on the mistake and getting in on goal. The earlier dive was embarrassing, though. Still, he's not completely useless.

Definitely outside the box.

Agreed, I still think Young was on his way down before the Crystal player went for him. The sharp turn of direction made him lose his footing. Credit to Young though, he reacted quickly and intercepted the ball well. He's been frustrating today but has at least taken players on.

Not even sure it was a foul but if it was it was outside the box.

I'll take a red and a penalty of course, mistakes go either way during a season. Young is still a diving cnut though, no denying that.

Feel for the lad.

Still decent play by Young.

You have to go down there.

It seems to me that the only thing Young ever seems to be involved in that's 'postitve' for United is Penalties, dives and controversy surrounding both. Whilst i;m sure most will take that outcome today just before half time, im sure you would rather have one of the better players on the pitch winning it without this kind of thing.

This is going to be just like last season, game after game of cnuts like me moaning about you cnuts moaning all the time

Chelsea v Palace has always been a heated rivalry, one of the most heated in England.

Not really. I'd love Palace to get a win today (never, ever going to happen) and would like them to stay up.

I've a few bets on today and pretty much all of them depend on a United win.

I have no real dislike of Man United and my wanting them to lose is down to wanting Chelsea to finish above them and enjoying a good upset.

I'm watching an ESPN HD stream and they've said the same thing about 50 times about the ref and the penalty  Morons.
