2-0 Bayern I think. Could easily be worse but teams don't tend to get hammered at home in the UCL.

This year they kind of do.
Rio and Vidic no longer have the legs to keep a high line.
We're probably looking at 0-4 aggregate at the very least. If we score one goal it'll probably be a wonder strike from Rooney out of almost nowhere. So how big a loss on aggregate would you guys think is acceptable and how big a loss is too much? How big a loss, on aggregate, are you willing to take right now?
feck it:
May as well go down in flames.
De Gea
Nani---Jones---Carrick---Buttner
Fellaini---Fletcher---Kagawa
Rooney
Hernandez---Welbeck
Whilst I don't see us starting like that, I can see us finishing like that.
Nani will be booed for not being Ronaldo and Moyes will be given a polite round of applause, because that's the United way and we're a classy bunch.
------------------------------------David de Gea----------------------
----P.Jones------------N.Vidic----------M.Carrick---------Buttner--
----------------------D.Fletcher-----M.Fellaini--------------------
----Nani-----------------------J.Mata------------------Kagawa--

We draw 1-1
According to our injuries, the alternative is Carrick. I choose Rio over Carrick.
But if Jones/Smalling/Evans is available, then I want one of them next to Vidic.
I agree we have to play Rio, I just don't think we can successfully maintain a high line without conceding.
I think we're gonna concede goals regardless of tactics and players. Might as well play a bit risky, so that we too can score goals. But that's just my crazy amateur opinion :P

Not sure if serious....I hope our players come out and play for the supporters knowing what this club means to them.
If they play with passion and belief....we can beat them.
Welbeck anywhere other than through the middle will be a mistake IMO, doesn't provide enough of a threat in behind when coming from the left which is what he's best at.
After seeing the team against Villa yesterday, I think Moyes might go with something like:
De Gea
Rafael - Ferdinand - Vidic - Buttner
Jones - Carrick
Valencia - Giggs - Welbeck
Rooney
Lindegaard - Fletcher - Fellaini - Young - Januzaj - Kagawa - Hernandez
If Fergie was still managing, this would be hyped-up to be such a tasty tie:
Champions of England v Champions of Germany/Europe.
