Can't wait for this to start - gutted I missed the LA Galaxy game :(

I expect us to win 3-1.

I'm off to Youtube to watch our 7-1 drumming of Roma in 2007/2008 :D

C'mon United!!

Are Chevrolet showing this game for free on their website like they did the LA Galaxy??

I don't know if its been mentioned but theres been more tickets made available for this game if anyone near Denver is interested, $20 plus a $10 surcharge...Don't know why the surcharge is so high but still $30 is a great price! Pity tickets weren't that cheap at Old Trafford!

Are Benatia and Pjanic gonna start ?

No. They only showed it because they were the sponsor of the game, hence why it was called the "Chevrolet Cup" .

First Half

De Gea
Jones ----- Evans ----- Blackett
Valencia ----------------------------- Shaw
Cleverley ---------- Herrera
Mata
Welbeck--------- Rooney

Second Half

Lindegaard
Keane----- Smalling----- Blackett
? ----------------------------- James
Cleverley ---------- Fletcher
Kagawa
Young--------- Hernandez

I reckon a Utd win by 1 or 2, quite comfortable and keeping the momentum going.

Cleverley is guaranteed to start, Hernandez surely will get time. James and Young maybe to start after their goals.

Hernandez under LVG is interesting, not sure what is going to happen. But if you take the managers words literally then playing with 2 strikers should see Hernandez getting plenty of minutes.

I didn't realise some of the US Tour games would be at English friendly times, so i'm actually looking forward to seeing this match now...if i can find a healthy river!

There were times when I didn't look forward to watching us play and possibly lose last season. :nervous: The excitement is back and it's baaack! C'mon United!

Will there be a stream for the likes of moi to watch this on later?

I know, it's great sing it. I started off a bit like this last year too though!

To be honest pal, I though he was a dead cert to leave this summer to Athletico, Inter or whoever. He hasn't got the minutes he deserved and I thought he would be determined to find first time football. Would hate to see it as I think he's class and a 20 a season if he is a regular starter.

With LvG potentially going for the two up top, then maybe he will stay albeit he will still find himself behind Rooney and Van Persie. Interesting to see in the next few weeks what he will do.m

I think we will play like this in the first minutes.

DDG

Jones---Evans---Blackett

Valencia---Herrera---Cleverly---Shaw

Kagawa

Welbeck----------Roney
This game won't be air here in my country :( Deciding between seeing on a low quality stream or wait later for some one to upload a HD or higher quality version.

It will be good to see the formation up against a tougher opponent. Does anyone know when RVP, Fellaini and Januzaj are back?

I'm hoping to see van Persie and Januzaj return at some point during the tour. Not too fussed about Fellaini but it will be interesting to see how van Gaal utilizes him.

It really seems like judgement day for Cleverley. Quite obvious this tour is his chance of impressing the manager

I agree......but still

I actually quite like that. The poor lad's had a horrible year or so, becoming the butt of everyone's jokes despite the fact that he's only ever been average, not actually shit as everyone seems to have convinced each other. If he was an Everton midfielder he'd probably be quite popular on here, but because he's at United and has had a few games for England everyone's decided he's the worst footballer of all time or something.

I don't expect Van Gaal to turn him into a brilliant midfielder, but he's always been a decent pass-and-move enabler, held back by the fact that there's not been anyone in United's midfield to enable (excluding Carrick for that one season). He'll look decent under Van Gaal, just like similar 'filler' players like Blind, Wijnaldum, Clasie etc have in the Netherlands team. Anyway, it's nice that Van Gaal's created a slightly more positive atmosphere to give him his chance in (choosing him for the press conference, being positive towards him in that press conference, making him captain), rather than expecting him to just suddenly turn it on after a year of unmerited victimisation.

I have to say I still can't believe that Moyes didn't come out more strongly in his defence when he was getting all that silly heat over the England squad (for which he's almost always been reliably decent). Fergie would have been all over that like a bad rash.

Cleverley as captain.. watch him have a stormer now, dominating the midfield, key through balls, tough in the tackling and a screamer or two Newcastle-esque.

Second coming of Christ..
