What is that now like the 7th-8th dutch player we have been linked to in the last 2 weeks?

I just can't get excited about signing a player called Quincy fecking Promes.
 
As much as LVG loves his Dutch players hes not a complete and utter moron, hes not about to completely revamp the squad into the Dutch national team especially since he has his own reservations about that team and has extremely low expectations for that squad since this Dutch team is considered to be severely lacking world class talent unlike the one that got them to the final in 2010.
 
I think this place might go apeshit if, as I expect, we don't sign one genuinely top class player this summer.
 
I think its safe to say that we wont be signing anyone before the world cup. We've been linked to so many players its insane and while some might actually be true (Shaw) most are fictitious. I honestly cant wait for the World Cup partially to get my mind off transfers.

Last summer was bad enough, I just couldn't believe what had happened on transfer deadline day last year.
If the same was to happen again, can a mob day ban me the day after deadline day?
Ill probably get banned anyway without any help.

Yeah, I think it`s more likely he looks to the Bundesliga if he`s looking for players he`s comfortable with.
 
Quincey scored a hattrick yesterday and a good one at that against scotland under 21's. That is why he is getting linked. No one knows who LVG wants, so lets link united with whole of the dutch squad. I wont be surprised if howard nurse links us with jaap stam or patrick kluivert soon.

I have no doubt LVG will be interested in a dutch player or two but i seriously doubt he wants 7-8 of them, i know hes done it before with Barca but Holland had real depth of talent back then as opposed to now when they are just not producing world class players in the same numbers, this is what makes me doubt we are after any more than one or two.

He signed quite a few at Barca. Hesp, Reiziger, Bogarde, Kluivert, Zenden, De Boer x 2, Cocu...

Well yeah as i said im aware he done it at Barca but that was 17 years ago and most of those were good players, Dutch football was strong at the time not so much now. As far as i know he didn't sign a load of dutch players during his second stint at Barca or at Bayern 5 years ago.

So i think we might sign 1 or 2 dutch players but no chance are we signing more than that, us being linked to all these dutch players is the product of lazy journalism in muppet season. My bet is the journos don't have a clue who LVG wants to sign so they are linking us with every half decent dutch player hoping they strike lucky if we end up signing one of them so they can then claim they broke the story first.
 
It is mostly BS but the Express have in my recollection have never got anything right, even IndyKaila on Twitter who is a known bullxxxxxxx has a better strike-rate.
 
The fact that the press appear to be guessing is a good thing I think. Maybe a return to United's transfer business done in secret.

LvG has maybe had a say on how our business is done since he has come in. It would be more beneficial to United and also to our health that it's kept on the downlow instead of one day coming out saying "it's done" to "it's not going to happen" the next day.
 
Is there actually anything going on with dithering united at the moment? So much for our signings done before the WC.
