We have done enough to score today so I dont know what you are saying here.
Well, not quite enough.
We have done enough to score today so I dont know what you are saying here.
That Dalot/Maguire side is woeful defensively. I wonder how many times that will cost us this season.
Have they been that good though?
Shush don’t let facts get in the way of a wankathon. He’d be called a show pony if he played for him. He’s anonymous in most games.
How many of our starting 11 for Brighton will start tomorrow? It's effectively a reserve game for fitness. We’ve another game tomorrow
It's obvious that Fred pulled his leg back as it landed on Morata and didn't put any pressure down on him. I know they're dissimilar but the ref would've considered it an accident had it been the other way around.Jesus they arent remotely comparable. Fred just did a sissor kick stamp ffs
Good match. Good performance. I am pleased.
Eh? Fred was one of the better players today, he won’t be banned if that’s what you’re insinuatingAtleast we won’t be starting the campaign with McFred midfield partnership. See you in September Fred.
No idea where Arsenal are playing, but they said it was quite hot where our game was being played.I‘ve watched ours and Arsenals game on 2 screens next to each other. The difference in pace and creativity is enormous, so much ahead of us.
Banning for league game because of red in friendly, that is a thing? If it is it's idiotic.
They banned Scholes and Rooney for it.I don't think they can do that for a friendly game.
Or can they?
Sometimes in a friendly a result like this is good for the club, it gives perspective we need 2 or 3 new signings before the window closed especially in the attacking area, I think we need game changers and if this doesn’t make united fans realise Ronaldo for all his antics will be essential if we are to mount a top 4 challenge.Classic Atletico.
Defend, foul, bury a chance, go home
I don't think they can do that for a friendly game.
Or can they?
Yes a good portion of this place is full of spoiled prats or moaning pessimists. You lot really are a sorry lot of supporters.
Yeah I liked what I saw there. Small data set but definitely can be of some use.Yeah that's it. Hopefully he gets plenty of chances this season.
They both got a couple of games ban, but both were allowed to play the opening game. Rooney got a brace against Fulham (Ronaldo the other two if memory serves)Wasn't Scholes sent off in the same game? If I remember correctly they were suspended for the first game of the season.
It’ll look cool sitting on the bench.
Same game, googled it, Vs Porto they were allowed to play the first then suspended for the next 3Scholes was a different season.
Neither team has, very few chances. We've barely forced Oblak into a save.
I don't think they can do that for a friendly game.
Or can they?
I guess you missed him getting sent off for stamping on a player during a friendly.Fred starts against Brighton, most likely with McTominay.
Our best player in the first half but ok.Fred leaves the runner for the one Dalot played all onside...but its ok its fred. Makes a few passes he's expected to make and he's playing well because he's Fred. Ok he might be likeable to many but Come on anyone can see he's seriously weak ffs. Sick of him
If you can't beat a team lagging behind in preseason by 2 weeks, it is awful. Think about what it will be like against any solid opponent among our first 10 matches, fully prepared. It’s not an awful performance by any stretch
0-1
Joao Felix
How was that awful .Awful performance against a team who are several weeks behind us. Really worrying
Couldn't care less about the result.
We generally looked decent and combative. But the need to add more quality, particularly in attack, was apparent.
