At least I think that that you were right.
I was right, right?
I
I'm impressed by how assured he has been so far and also by the fact he seems to be being himself and not, so it seems anyway, feel like he had to do this that or the other to appease or convince others. I really thought there would be a new signing at his unveiling, as a statement if intent if nothing else, but he just fronted up on he's own and put his foot down on certain issues like the Rooney one. Massive shoes to fill obviously but he doesn't seem overawed at all. I always thought that for whoever replaced the great man, believing they were good enough to do so was a big part of the job.
Given that that that that precedes the other that is a subordinator, yes, you were.
Its really really weird seeing Phil Neville on the touchline shouting instructions to the players
Its gonna take a while to get used to it.
saw him giving instructions to Evra.....that must feel a bit weird. Especially since Evra's a premier league champion a few times over recently and Neville hasn't got close to one for ages. But hey, Neville's united..so that is ok...
What does that even mean?saw him giving instructions to Evra.....that must feel a bit weird. Especially since Evra's a premier league champion a few times over recently and Neville hasn't got close to one for ages. But hey, Neville's united..so that is ok...

Why? Would you rather some guy from another club who you'd never heard of until he came to United? Someone like, I don't know, Carlos Queiroz, Steve McLaren or Rene Mulensteen?Ill never get used to that. Dont want to.
Lost a pre-season game, plus the lack of appeal of our city compared to London, Munich or wherever
There's surely only one thing for it
Sack Moyes, Sell Manchester
Chris Woods hasn't won anything since he played for Rangers either. De Gea should just tell him to feck off in training.saw him giving instructions to Evra.....that must feel a bit weird. But he hasn't won anything in ages. I'm sorely tempted to start a thread titled What does Phil Neville do? The problem is I already know the answer. feck all apart from condascend Patrice Evra. Why? Ah, I've just noticed the problem. P Neville is English, while the 3 I've mentioned are a Portugeezer and two Dutchies.
That certainly sounds like a thread I would read. I might follow you so I don't miss it.But he hasn't won anything in ages. I'm sorely tempted to start a thread titled What does Phil Neville do? The problem is I already know the answer. feck all apart from condascend Patrice Evra.

Played against last season? Why should that be an issue? If our players can't deal with being coached by a coach who used to be a player then I'd suggest they've taken up the wrong fecking career. What I meant, before all the caf elite's start rolling their elitist eyes as they always bloody do, is that it's going to be hard for some of these senior players to get used to being coached from ex-players that they played with or against last season, that is all ie..neville, giggs. I'm not dissing Neville or Giggs or anybody. There are a feck load of changes throughout the whole structure of this club this season and if anyone thinks everything just carries on as normal, well they are living in cloud cuckoo land.

Where did those coaches who helped coach United to those titles coach before they coached United?well, its about experience as well. You are being coached by someone who hasn't coached before at this level yes? The previous coaching staff helped united to titles in 08,09,11 and 13. Of course there will be trust issues and confidence issues when things change...it's bloody obvious, especially with senior players who have been with united for some time and use to a system that has bred success. It's like a whole new management coming into the successful company you have worked for that has been bought out....there is initial insecurity, it's natural...

Where had Quieroz, McLaren, Muelensteen coached before coaching United? What about Phelan? What had Brian Kidd done other than play for United to qualify him to be United coach?

As a player, with United. Like Phil Neville.Phelan had won the premiership, in fairness.
But yeah the guy with an issue over P Nev? Although not as good a player he was every bit as much a a utd player as Evra. He is now a coach and will be a very good one.
Yup. For some reason I thought someone asked what had Mike done...As a player, with United. Like Phil Neville.
Phil Neville was coaching at Everton, and has been for a while. You mentioned coaching at this level. United level. None of those coaches had experience of coaching at the level United play at before they came to United.Well, Muelensteen coached Brondby for three years before he came to united. Quieroz had a feck load of coaching experience before he came to united. Kidd coached at Barrow (ok not huge) and then coached the youngsters at united before being promoted because of his ability....Phelan was assistant manager to Gary Megson at Norwich...
anyway....I'm sure Phil will be amazing...so forget it...
I did. In reference to how much more had he done to qualify himself for a coaching role at United than Phil Neville.Yup. For some reason I thought someone asked what had Mike done...
