Much simpler than this thread implies though: a colleague suffers a bad injury that will keep him several months out, his morale is obviously low and the dressing room shows solidarity.

Unsurprisingly, people haven't actually read the thread, to see that most posters thought it was absolutely fine when City did it.

Since everything city does is embarassing, as theyre an embarassing and a joke of a club, its ok now that united, a proper and a big club does this gesture. Whats so hard to understand?
I thought it's really classless from the club to give what's left of Ibra's and Rojo's kits from this season to other players instead of printing them their own. Cheap bastards.
My view is consistent on this in that I think it's pretty lame. Who gives a feck really though.

You might find that the people who laughed at City were different people to the people who are currently saying there's nothing wrong with it. The Cafe isn't a beehive; it's a collection of individual people.

One of the players (Herrera I think) said 'we won it for Zlatan and Marcos' after the Burnley game. Wish they could use the same determination for every game and 'win it for Jones'.
