No he wouldn’t, don’t rewrite history.Jose also went to Anfield to get a 0-0, Fergie would have been embarrassed to do that

I'd take Carrasco, I'd also demand Bernardo Silva on loan with City paying his wages, Phil Foden permanently and £100m if they want him this window, but I don't run Leicester CityOK, was unaware of that. I don't get how this has any traction then. Why would you sell your best player a day before the window closes?
Long shot I know, but Carrasco is supposedly on the transfer list, would you swap those two? Provided you get Carrasco for cheaper than you sell Mahrez for, which I think is feasible.
More young players need to follow Jayden Sancho’s example and leave
The same Rashfords thinking. " Hmm competition heating up, better work harder" or something. Don't really see why everybody seems so shocked by this. Mahrez deserves to try himself at a higher level, no one else seems interested to take him.
he's already made his debut for their first team and in the meantime played competitive football for their B teamWhether he makes it or not at Dortmund, his move would be vindicated if they buy Mahrez.

Likely City want him because they missed Sanchez
last season yes, this season he's been back to his best to be fair since Puel came inHe's basically been moody and very patchy in terms of his form since they won the league and there are figures like £60-70m being thrown about? Nice work if you can get it.
Tbf this is exactly what I do on FM and PES. Injury or poor form? Replace them with expensive star.Probably more to do with Sane's injury.
They're just playing real life FM now.
Personally, I would say the bolded bit is quite generous, given how good he was the year they won the title, but even if you were to accept that, he's basically had three months of good form over the last season and a half. I dunno, I'm really not seeing it, tbh. He's obviously a very good player, but is he really going to be putting it in when he's playing every fourth game?last season yes, this season he's been back to his best to be fair since Puel came in
Surely alarm bells must be ringing in Marhez's head that they weren't in the slightest bit interested in him until Sane got injured, the lad is only out for 6 weeks, but I suppose Marhez is as desperate to leave, as City are to make sure Pep doesn't have to actually deal with an injury for a while.
A bit better, yes. but not considerably. Pep did have a lot of dead weight to get rid of, and still does. Same goes for jose.Would you not concur that Pep inherited a superior squad at City to Jose at United?
I would have loved him here, well, it seems that city are getting him.
Pulisic or Bailey are the one for us.
Bernardo isn't a winger. He knows when he signed with City he'll be the David Silva replacement. Just because he can play either in the AML or AMR position doesn't mean he's the most effective there.
As for Mahrez, I don't think it's going to happen. They can't spend anymore without selling players to comply with the FFP. Plus, it's almost the end of the transfer window so this screws Leicester.

If we mange to get one of them. the advantage with Mahrez is that he already knows the PL. let's see.
I try not to subscribe to the 'media are anti-United' talk usually because frankly every fan says the same about their own club.
However I do doubt that we will read very much, if anything at all, about the spending going on at City. It is ridiculous. We all know that they are doing this to beat the new FFP regulations, but even so I doubt that it will stop anytime soon, and fully expect them to be the largest spenders again in the summer.
Someone mentioned Foden earlier, and it's worth repeating again. That kid is an outstanding prospect but it's difficult to see him getting into this team anytime soon when they are prepared to keep adding to a bloated squad. Given how dominant they are in most games, I would find it difficult to believe that they couldn't use him in Premier League matches while Sane is out.
Well, bigger pay and a club that challenges for trophies. in addition to that, he will definitly get game time and there is a good chance that he could get a starting place in their team.
It looks like he will adapt very well to city's style as he would see a lot of the ball.
I'm not sure City are really strengthening themselves with all these signings. You can only put XI players in a team. None of these signings are particularly top tier.
Short memory. He would have regularly taken an away draw at anfield and regularly set up the same way to nick a goal from a set piece.
I do not understand why City is going for Mahrez. they simply do not need him. yes, Mahrez is a good player but they alrady have Sterling and Sane, who will return back in 5-7 gameweeks. ANd they have Phil Foden who looks to be good and surely deserves few chances , especially given Pep's history of developing youth.
If City indeed get Mahrez, I think they will sell Bernardo Silva, they simply do not have space for anymore attackers.
he's been involved in more goals than Hazard or Coutinho since we got promoted in an inferior sideHe's not all that. Skillful player with poor attitude and decision making.
150k a week then?around half of Sanchez new United wage
