Spotted the lip reading one, missed the others.

I watched the first season of this about a year ago and while it is clearly a very well made show i just couldn't really into it and felt no urge to acquire the 2nd season. Is the 1st season a true representative of the overall show or does it get better ? Maybe it's just i don't 'get it'.

If you couldn't get into it after the first season, you won't at any point.

Good episode, the rebirth of the man formerly known as Don Draper continues.

Ginsberg's situation was odd. What is that in reference too @R.N7 ?

Betty is lost.

Don is the king, has a three some then storms into a pitch to feck shit up!

Another good episode. Building up nicely. Wonder if there will be a huge bang at the end of the next episode before making us wait a year for the second part of the final season to start.

Excellent ending, brilliant scenes with Peggy and Don and how old bonds and allies are seemingly pulling together again (Roger/Joan, Don/Peggy/Pete)

Plus this episode had 100% more Trudy than so far in the series.

That was outstanding. Hell, the Don and Peggy dance/restaurant would've both been a good final scene for the entire show!

This season has been great so far.

I find those kind of scenes between Peggy and Don, the like of which we've seen few of since 'The Suitcase', more compelling than anything on TV. As much as there is that's great about this show, it's those kind of moments between Peggy and Don that I feel I'm always hoping to see.

That scene with them dancing was fantastic. I was actually surprised they didn't at least finish off the episode on that, it would've been perfect.
That was a terrible pitch by Bob Benson, NOT GREAT BOB.
 That's exactly what Ms. RiP said! 'What a terrible salesman, he could've sold it much better'.

Yep. That scene with them discussing the pitch was great, but topping it off with that dance and the affection that is evident between them is great. I thought the scene was mesmerizing, I was actually eating an ice cream at the time and realized after the scene that I'd just completely froze in front of my screen and that the ice cream had dripped. Interesting anecdote, eh?
Is it me or has Hendricks gotten hotter this season?
I think so, she's lost a bit of weight I think. They kind of referred to it in this episode if I recall correctly.

Excellent episode except I didn't give a shit about Pete seeing Trudy. I'm not sure if it's because I watched it on a different television than usual, but it seemed to have really bizarre sound design. A lot of silence.

Amazing the viewing ratings have dropped, I think the last 4 seasons have been exceptional. If it wasn't ending next year I could just keep watching it.

I guess the people who watched the show for shallow reasons have lost interest in it.

I've decided to start from the beginning and watch all the episodes again, I saw the first episode again yesterday and was suprised at just how good it was.

To be fair of all the major series I've watched start-to-finish (Sopranos, Mad Men, Breaking Bad and so far GOT) Mad Men is the one I'd choose to watch all over again. It is so consistant in its quality - the writing and style of it are utterly superb.

In terms of viewership , is it not up against Game Of Thrones in the US on Sunday night's - might explain it unless they're shown at different times.
