Roger is my favourite by far
What a fantastic episode, once again. This 'half season' has truly been up there with some of the best of the show. I loved:
- Sally's pose when she smoked her cigarette;
- the Don/Peggy moments;
- how Harry was dismissed by Roger;
- the Don/Megan conversation;
- the landing on the moon scene;
- Peggy's presentation;
- the Napoleon related quote by Roger.
Most of the episode basically. And what a wonderfully bonkers send-off for Robert Morse!
Robert Morse who played Bert is a broadway legend, I thought it was a nice send off ala Anna.That ending was so bizarre and out of place in an otherwise great episode. I'm not sure if I liked the musical segment or not. I was sort of baffled throughout.
Thanks, didn't know that.It was a dream, Cina.
Oh I know yeah, still, it was out of place, regardless.Robert Morse who played Bert is a broadway legend, I thought it was a nice send off ala Anna.
That was hilarious. In fact I find the scenes at the office the funniest. Best of which to me wasI loved how they completely switched off from mourning mood back to business mode when Roger brought the offer to them. Joan and Pete were brilliant, and Cutler's change of heart at the end was fun too.
While it's not nice to see given how she's turned on Don, in a sense it's logical for the evolution of her character. She's becoming one of these highly professional women, very driven, and who is willing to put the good of the firm before anything else. She has no loyalty, sure, but whatever she did to Don wasn't out of spite but just due to what she thinks is best for the company.Couple things that I didn't really get were when did Joan become such an ungrateful bitch? Absolutely no fecking loyalty.
Reminds me of you, in many ways.While it's not nice to see given how she's turned on Don, in a sense it's logical for the evolution of her character. That's the most beautiful thing you've ever said to me, CeS.Reminds me of you, in many ways.
