Television Mad Men | SPOILERS

don draper is annoying me with his arrogant attitude, don't get me wrong, he still runs the show, but he could be a little more "human"

i love peggy

i would so feck jessica pare and Christina Hendricks

and i'd also shagg january jones, she is not as beatifull now as she used to be, but i don't mind

all in all, it was a good start of the season, but far from the best

He's still very much human but a depressed, guilt-ridden and flawed one.

Maybe he reads the TV guide and assumes he knows enough about the episode so as to save him the time to actually watch it.

The chick from Freaks and Geeks.

Ah that's who she is, that was doing my head in!

Good opening episode, the Betty stuff was boring though, and the rape joke, what the hell?

The fat suit doesn't really help though, she's still amazing looking normally, like in X-Men:First Class.

Actually that fat suit looked more CGI than an actual fat suit, it was weird.

I love Fat Betty, though I am confused. I thought it was originally because the actress was pregnant. Will we have Forever Fat Betty or are they going to phase it out? I don't think anyone would have minded if they started the season with "Look, Betty ain't fat no more", then never mentioned it again.

It was because she was preggers yeah, but she ain't fat no more in real life so I'm deeply upset that they're persisting with it. Hopefully they'll stop it soon.

Still, you have to admire the writers, they know everybody hates the character, so what do they do? Make her ugly and joke about her husband raping a 14 year old child with a gag in her mouth. Yeah, that'll help.

Roger hasn't featured much so far but when he has he's delivered fine lines.

"Hello, Don Ho. You have a blue drink in the white sand? Ernest Borgnine chase you down the alleyway with a switchblade?"

"I'm afraid she left everything to the zoo. She's making them name the animals ... Her will looked like the manifest from Noah's ark."

excellent episode, i love how Campbell tries to be Don, but fails miserably

what happened to him and that girl would have never happened to Don, rookie mistake

Roger's few lines were comedy gold.Confusing Churchill and his mother

 That was hilarious.

Excellent episode this week, can't help feel that the Don stuff is all deja-vu though, the Roger, Pete, Peggy etc stuff is far more interesting.

Peggy's storyline is the most interesting alright, but I'm still enjoying the Don stuff, I like how they introduced some flashbacks to his childhood, and his collapse at the end of the episode. And the parallel with Campbell is interesting, cos even if they're doing the same thing at the moment, shitting where they're eating as it were, Don knows how to choose his... preys more intelligently than Campbell, hence the difference in result. Campbell basically isn't sly enough.

Loved how Don dealt with the Jaguar situation as well.

No racism in mad men, no siree bob. Never happened in the 60's.
