Could he get two worse fixtures next!!

Stoke away, massive game raisers and just about the most physical side in the Premier league. Followed by the Champions clearly buoyant from their new appointment. I think we may as well part company now, let the new manager plan ahead of the coming window.

I kept thinking he will at least steady us a bit so I did not vote. Today just broke the camel's back for me.

Just watching his interview right now

Saying nothing as usual- got bored with the comments now

He's got to go now, we need a change to stop the rot. That's not to say he's a bad manager, he's just having a nightmare this season.

I'm thinking that Edward Woodward might want the new manager to have an easier ride of first fixtures and a stressfree Christmas. LVG will probably be here for the next two games in my opinion

I don't know what everyone is complaining about we won the posession 70 to 30. What more do you want.

Stoke have not been great recently, beaten by Palace at home today.

I have finally voted in this thread. Went for sack him now as Mourinho is available and that won't be the case at the end of the season. I also think signing players at the end of the season will be much more difficult for a manager that plans to retire in 12 months.

Best to get someone in early, while we still have an outside shot at winning the league (9 points behind Leicester FFS!) and at least finishing in the top 4, rather than wait like we did with Moyes until it is impossible to qualify for the champions league, and therefore blowing 2 seasons.

Mourinho would have half a season to turn things around and get this squad playing to it's potential which should be enough to at least keep us in the champions league places for next season.

Worst case scenario, hire him on a 3 year contract say, with an option to terminate in the summer if the objectives are not met.

Who do you think we are going to get then?
This is just a difficult period of the season to make an appointment. I have no idea how the club can improve the current situation. The only thing that I am certain of is that somehow, anyhow we need to finish in the top 3.

Jose would have us challenging for the title this season. A world class manager doesn't turn into Andy Hessenthaler in 9 months ffs.

If Guardiola can't commit to a summer United move right now then appointing Mourinho is a no brainier.

Why are you so confident he'd have us challenging for the title after finishing 4th last season, when he guided the champions to one point from relegation? He's an enormous risk at best.

Be interesting if the poll was refreshed to show the balance of opinion on the Cafe now, rather than what some posters thought two months ago.

I imagine the 'Sack now' option would have a large majority.

Hernandez is scoring for fun, Di Maria and Nani are assisting for fun. All while we can barely manage a shot on target.

Mourinho, Carlo or Pep, not Giggs.
Till the end of the season then if ever we find someone else who can bring better attacking football, this is simply not United! Can it be worst than that? Seriously?

Can't see the point in sacking him right now as there is no one to get in, and it looks like we've fecked up the Pep situation and Ancelotti is off to Bayern, the incompetency at the club is astonishing for a business of this size.

Depressing, isn't it? Big mistake by LVG to let Hernandez go this season when we look so weak up front and the ridiculous Di Maria exit could have been avoided too. Though saying that the guy was an idiot who didn't have the mentality to be here or he wouldn't have run off first chance he had.

Nani was poorly treated by Moyes and LVG in the end and not given any chance but knew he would do just fine at his next club. Can't believe how rarely we get a shot on target, not a very good philosophy to be successful.
