I wonder if Giggs was sent down to the touchline or did he go of his own accord?

100% Van Gaal should go after this result for me, he's lost the fans and also the players in my opinion. I'd be happy if he went tonight.

ain't wining at Stoke and he ain't beating Chelsea at home. Please save us the hassle and part ways now.

I hope not, giving our next manager the January transfer window would make sense.

Let's overpay for mediocre players. /philosophy

Many clubs out there will be holding United hostage.

It's Stoke next, but if he is our manager, when we do play Chelsea the media are going to love the narrative.
Bet he'd beat them too! How much would he love it. Remember his comments after Inter knocked out Chelsea

So the options are (probably):
-Give him time, and risk top four with no real potential for this changing. This isnt a one-off, weve been playing like this since before October. (It does seem like Moyes before Xmas when we were getting worse but had faith and it got to the point we had to sack him when it was no longer possible to get CL).

-Sack him now and either get in Jose (if possible) or give it to Giggs if Pep agrees to take it at the end of the season.

Hes brought this on himself. Hes a weird man that stumbled across a 433 that worked last season and hasnt gone back to it yet despite it providing some good football and results (Spurs, Liverpool,City, Villa). And partially Chelsea but missing Carrick hurt us.

His love for Rooney and all things Rooney despite it harming the team, including playing our main goal threat on the right wing, until hes pushed up front and is the only one to hit the target (and score a goal, shocking).

His reluctance to get up and say anything to change the game as he doesnt think it will change anything.

I really wanted it to work out for the crazy dutch bastard but hes a mad man that just looks like he doesnt give a F either way.

stoke and a hungry chelsea with vG as manager will lead to 0-2 points, a new manager might get 2-6 and a fresh start for our mistreated awesome talents.

I've fallen over the fence.
Believing Rooney was the focal point of our attack going into the season has been a shocking decision.
This squad has been put together by him and is lacking in so many areas, though we've spent heavily. It's just gross negligence and arrogance.

I mean wait. We have just lost to Bournemouth away...ok, it happens, gone out of the champions league in what was considered a pretty easy league and just lost to Norwich at home and have had like 7 shots on target in the last four or five games? What more does that tell anyone about how the players are dealing with his orders or how the confidence level is. If we keep this guy, I certainly think we will lose against Stoke and Chelsea to.

Which players do you think we've overpaid for? One thing I will say in his favour is that the signings have made have been good, Di Maria and Falcao (loan) aside.

He's an idiot for selling letting Hernandez, Nani and Januzaj all go without signing replacements, obviously.

I'd be much more happy to give him time if there seemed to be any sign that he was learning. Even Ferguson, as successful as he was and as stubborn as he was, admitted when he made a mistake or when something wasn't working.

The most disappointing aspect so far is that we still lack an identity in our football after so long.

Bournemouth and Norwich were in the Championship last season. Beaten by both in the space of a week. Its unacceptable. He has to go tonight.

Only the news of sacking him will bring a smile on my face. Then the news of Giggs or Mourinho appointed will quickly wipe it off my face.

Supposedly United just tweeted that LVG has gone by mutual consent but it was quickly deleted. Anyone see it?

What did he blame or what excuses did the mad man make now?

Proudly in the LVG out camp from the start of this thread along with the other members of the master species.
