I dont want to turn into the club of the manager merry gone round...

He should still be given time, but always preferred Mourhino and as well as Pep.

If no Pep, and Mourhino wants the job straight away, i would be ok with him going, but at least give him till January and see what the table looks like

I've now changed my vote:
He has to go now - I think he has no idea how to change the way we play.
There just isn't any point in allowing him to continue with this "we will dominate possession, then score 1 goal, the lose the game" strategy. It isn't working and he and our players are not changing.
I'd like Mourinho appointed on Monday, with him being asked to win the title for us next season (ie. this will be counted as his first season and next season will be his second season, in which he wins us the title).

For a brief moment i thought we showed some fight, but then Norwich changed their tactics. What does our boss do? feck all he just sat there doing nothing. The team needed a change of direction to break down the opposition and he's just sitting talking to whatever his face is.

I actually dont care who replaces him, I think every manager in the premier league would do a better job.

Tbh i don't think he's anywhere near the sack.

Agreed. We gave Moyes till CL football was pretty much out of the question. I expect it'll be the same with LVG, which means he'll probably be here till next season at the very least. If we finish 4th, I expect he'll be given till 2017 when he'll step down.

"No, the pressure when I started as a manager was much higher," he said. "I cannot lose now that I am at the end of my career."

You lose now you complete tit. He has got to go. It's not even a spoilt bastard fan thing because we are losing...it's his negative comments, lack of passion and belief, shit on a stick football, arrogance, hiding behind his 'bad' English, the list goes on. The longer he goes on, the less chance we have of attracting a decent manager or player as he is tarnishing our club to the core. Just do the honourable thing.

Sack him now. Just fecking sack him now.

Bring in Ronald Koeman or Ronald fecking McDonald. I don't give a feck, just sack him now. Sick of this shite.

I just can't see us letting it go that long. CL football is an absolute necessity. We won't waste as much time and wait till its out of the question. Paying Moyes off was expensive, it's nowhere near as much for LVG. He'll be off soon.

Look...he's a manager that wanted a swan song to his career and it's not working out. He should go gracefully, he's given us hardly any highlights apart from getting to fourth....and then that ended in disaster. The players will be sitting in that dressing room not wanting to hear his voice, not wanting to be told what to do because fundamentally it ain't working...and players need leaders...who know what they are doing through the results they get. It hasn't happened and unfortunately, if the Glaziers don't want a half empty stadium...they have to bring the hammer down.

Last 15 games: 4 wins, 6 draws, 5 losses

Out of the Carling Cup and the Champions League.

5th in the league, 9 points behind top team Leicester.

There's really nothing left for him here.

The results are really poor. But i think the way we play is even worse. He must go.

The LVG era has been well and truly a disaster when you think about it. Regardless of top four last season, I can barely count on one hand the amount of games we actually looked convincing and his man management and subs have been shocking throughout his tenure.

He stumbled into one period of good form because injuries forced the tactics. That's the only high point I can remember.

If you're going to be a self-proclaimed genius then you have to back it up. He may be good at implementing a passing philosophy but from what we've seen with us he's hopeless at doing much more.

I'll be glad to see the back of him.

The death march continues. Terrible stuff from our players again who clearly look like they want LVG gone. Defending was a nightmare, which was probably the only thing keeping the team going for so long. Phil Jones has had some awful performances over the years but today was up (down?) there.

God what a fecking twat !

Forget this turning the club into a coaching merry go round talk , we need something to happen and fast otherwise we will sit by the wayside and watch another season go past ... Carlo , pep and Jose all available , pick one and make it happen ....

The club will give him time, because process. If we get top 4 again, he'll probably see out his contract.

Do the club even care about trophies anymore? They're not showing it.

We've fallen so far since SAF left.

Think he very well could be gone by morning with Mou coming in, what a shame, the transfer window brought so much promise. Thanks for Shaw, Memphis, DDG's contract and Martial though LvG, you've helped us build for the future.

For someone who was praised before coming here for being flexible and adaptive, he seems remarkably stubborn and unwilling to change things that are clearly not working. With that god awful 3-5-2 last season, with Rooney, with this setup we've got now. The best football by far we've played under him was with a set up he pretty much stumbled upon because of injuries. He's spent a lot of money in the summer and has changed the system to his liking and somehow we've got much worse.

He won't be sacked yet, and, to be honest I'd probably still give him a bit more time, if not just for lack of better immediate replacements. He really has to change his approach though or we'll keep losing, and from what we've seen so far it's hard to see that happening. Hopefully he realises his job is on the line now and stops fannying about.
